A friend brought me to Portovino for my birthday,the brunch everything was delicious,especially the crepes++++, The staff so friendly & they work together,nice to see. I will definitely return ,& recommend the experience..

The food was amazing. Generous portions that you don't often see at Italian restaurants as well. Their bread was really good too. Our waitress was friendly & well informed about the menu. I just wish she came by the table more often. The staff is professional. The owner is very nice. Lovely ambiance. I would definitely go back & try other things on the menu. I removed one star because it's very expensive to eat here. Many pasta dishes are $30+ & their entrées are pricey too so we opted not to order any sadly.. Remember to bring your own wine.
I went for dinner on a friday. The restaurant was empty at 5pm & the staff were all gathering near the kitchen to chat. It took a long time to the server to give us water & to take our order. I was disappointed in the Caesar salad because the lettuce was wet & the dressing flavorless. What disappointed the most is that this appetizer is 9$ & tasted like that.. As of the Salmon tartare, it was decent but I felt like it was missing flavors too.
Highly recommend for Sunday brunch & family gatherings. Staff is well trained , nice modern decor , The owner takes care of the clients . Definitely going back .
Went for the buffet Brunch on Sunday (55$/person; includes tea/coffee). Service is A+ by all the staff, be it at the table or the food sections. Food was fresh & they replenish fast so there is never a lack of. While the food was not mind blowing, it is above average. No waiting line even at noon. Menu online is true to reality. Would recommend to try it out, if only for the amazing service!

J'ai réservé dimanche 30 juin pour un groupe de 47 personnes pour un anniversaire de 60 ans pour des jumeaux!!! Laura qui m'a expliquée comment ça fonctionnait était très professionnelle & très flexible pour tout! Le service le soir de la fête était excellent! Nos serveurs Lucas & Niko ainsi que le busboy Ryan, ont vraiment assuré!!! Ils ont servi tout le monde presque en même temps malgré un menu à la carte. Wow! Les plats été bien présentés oet la nourriture était bonne! Je recommande cet endroit pour tous vos parties privés. Vraiment très satisfaite de mon choix! Merci Portovino Laval!
Reserved the table online. When we got there, they could not find a reservation despite the confirmation email received. They managed to give us a table though. Food quality was about average. Food presentation below average. Only grilled octopus was testy. Alcohol is not served. You will need to bring with you. It wasn't clear through website. Bathroom floor was almost flooding. No bathroom tissue. Sorry for not posting any pictures. Just look any fast food pictures. However, prices are not fast food prices
It was a great experience. I went for the brunch (buffet) on Sunday. The quality of the food was good. You had breakfast & lunch options together. The staff was so friendly & polite. They kept coming to your table to make sure you were ok. If you are looking for a unique experience for brunch, don't hesitate to go here. You won't regret it.
Mon mari a réservé pour mon 50e anniversaire. Nous étions 28 personnes. Nous avons tous bien mangé. Le personnel étaient agréable. Un peu cher mais la qualité vaut le prix. Ma seule déception est que les macarons décorant mon gâteau ont mystérieusement disparu. Probablement dans l'estomac des serveurs. Les tranches de gâteau servi étaient si minuscule que nous n'avons mangé que la partie du haut.
Omg, j'ai mangé comme un rois. C'est un restaurant quand même haute de gamme donc vous allez payer plus cher mais honnêtement c'est très bon. Bon service de haute qualité, propriétaire attentionné!
