What a festive atmosphere last night. We heard Happy Birthday songs at least 4 times!!! The hostesses at reception were welcoming & warm. Our waiter Nicholas was attentive, funny, efficient & friendly. The food was amazing. We ordered the brie with caramelized onions & steaks (cooked perfectly) & the mashed potatoes were heaven. Bring your own wine! Recommend. Thank you everyone st Portovino Laval!

The service was excellent but i was charged $35 for a plate of pasta when the menu clearly indicated $27. Once home I realized their mistake & called the restaurant only to be told that there was no pasta dish on the menu at that price. Oh, I must have dreamed it. Won't go back.

Good lunch spot for a Sunday morning brunch. Make sure you find the seafood medley. Key tip at a buffet is to circle the buffet & check everything out before loading your plate. The desserts are excellent.

Nous sommes aller au brunch la nourriture était délicieuse! Huîtres, crevettes , salade de fruits de mer ! Boulette de viande, lasagne, déjeuner, oeuf bénédictine... wow tout était excellent! Le service super aussi je recommande

Probably the fact that it is a byob makes it worse, but the food is highly over priced. Big quantities with only decent quality. The kid's pizza is not even the same as the adult pizza (it tastes like a cheap delivery pizza at best). Otherwise the place is nice & the staff is good.

Went for the brunch buffet Sunday morning. The quality of the food that was being served was so much better than other restaurants I've had in the area that offer an all you can eat brunch. Loved the flambe station & mini canollis the most! But all the food was very good & the service was completely on point. Will go back!

Visité récemment pour la première fois, & quelle expérience agréable ! Dès l'entrée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le propriétaire & les personnel. Le cadre est cosy & invite à la détente. Nous avons opté pour plusieurs plats, tous plus délicieux les uns que les autres, mettant en avant des produits frais & locaux. Le chef a clairement un talent exceptionnel, chaque plat était un régal pour les papilles. Le service était impeccable, attentif sans être envahissant. Mention spéciale pour la sélection de dessert , qui complétait parfaitement notre repas. Un endroit que je recommanderais sans hésiter à ceux en quête de saveurs authentiques & d'une expérience culinaire mémorable. Hâte de revenir !

Wonderful! Great food! Everything was delicious. Pizza, pasta, osso bucco & the steak was cooked to perfection. Reasonable price. Big portions. Great ambiance. Can't wait to come back!

Osso bucco supposedly their signature dish rice was awful meat eatable, sauce salty was not what I expected, pizza 5 people said it was 5 on 10 & 2 where sick overnight No service provided to open wine bottles The rest of the food 7 on 10 We reserved for 22 people Washroom are mixed & on second floor The place is extremely loud acoustics need a major improvement

Ceci est notre 3e visite. Cette fois-ci le propriétaire a dépassé nos attentes afin d'offrir un service adapté pour les personnes ayant des restrictions alimentaires, comme nous, nous ne mangeons pas de porc. Il s'est assuré de faire le tour avec mes parents pour leur montrer ce qu'ils pouvaient manger. Mes parents veulent déjà savoir quand est-ce que je vais les ramener au Portovino!
