A Taste of Home: 10/10 Experience
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant today, & I must say, it was like taking a delicious trip back home to Nigeria. I ordered the Amala with ewedu & gbegiri, & it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were rich & authentic, perfectly balancing the smoothness of the Amala, the earthy goodness of ewedu, & the savory taste of gbegiri. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked meals, full of warmth & tradition.
The portion sizes were generous, & the meal was beautifully presented. The service was excellent, with the staff being both welcoming & attentive. It's clear that they take pride in delivering authentic Nigerian cuisine that's prepared with care & love.
If you're looking for an authentic Nigerian dining experience, I highly recommend trying this place. A 10/10 for the food, the service, & the overall experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
From a happy & satisfied customer 😊
An extremely horrible place to get Nigerian food. First of all, the young lady who attended to us was very hostile. Secondly, we ordered bread & beans. The bread was just brought out from the fridge & served to us, after drawing her attention to help us microwave it, she didn't even answer us. This is definitely the first & last time I would ever go there.
I was quite disappointed. I have heard good reviews about this restaurant. But unfortunately, I tried this food out today. It lacked Flavour & seasoning. The pepper sauce was not even spicy. The fish tasted like fish with no seasoning. The beef tasted like beef with no flavor. The rice was mid . The worst part was the price ! I spent $52 on mid food ! Nigerian people need to do better, why am I paying for one plate of food $52. I don't know what's going on? but there's an epidemic in regards to food prices. At least if you're going to charge me these prices, give me quality food. Honestly, the food tasted like whoever cooked it was not in the mood to cook. My Nigerian people please do better!
I was looking for a place to have a decent Nigerian meal during my road trip to Montreal. My friends found this place on TikTok. The ambience was nice, we had lots of laugh with the person that attended to us, & of course had a delicious meal. I'll visit again on my next trip to Montreal.
Very good Nigerian food & great customer service! I'd recommend their Jollof rice!
I live in Toronto but hands down this is the best Nigerian restaurant in Montreal, highly recommend!
