Pokai is a charming place! The decor is thoughtful & the wood-paneling makes for a cozy space. The service is rapid & the owner is always so so welcoming. Both the poke bowls & the banh mi are consistently fresh & delicious, & the prices are fair. I wholeheartedly recommend for a quick bite or a longer lunch with friends!!

I ordered a grilled chicken bowl today, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The vegetables weren't fresh, & the chicken marinade tasted off. I couldn't even eat it & ended up throwing it away. Hopefully, it won't make me sick.
I had a fantastic experience at Pokai! I tried the bánh mì & the poke bowl, & both were fresh, flavourful, & generously portioned.
The bánh mì was everything it should be-crispy baguette, savoury fillings, fresh herbs, & just the right balance of pickled crunch & spice. The poke bowl, though more of a modern twist, was equally impressive-fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, & super satisfying.
What really stood out was the excellent value. For the quality & portion size, the prices are more than fair-making this spot a go-to for both taste & budget.
The service was friendly, & the vibe of the place was relaxed & welcoming. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a casual meal, Pokai is a great choice.
Highly recommended-I'll definitely be coming back!

I love this place! I walked in to the warmest welcome & service. I love the decor, gave me relaxed surfer vibes. The salmon poke bowl was so fresh & delicious. I love the sauce they use. So many places are all about the mayo (& I love a good mayo), but this place had to most delicious soy style sauce & I was in heaven! It's easily my number one spot for poke now. I can't wait to go back. You gotta try this place!

I had the salmon poke bowl & it was the BEST poke bowl I've ever had! Also, a perfect option for people with gluten intolerance! The ingredients are high quality, fresh, delicious, & the sauce he used in the poke bowl was unlike anything I've had before. Everything was very thoughtful, from the atmosphere & decor in the shop to the food itself. The owner is also a friendly & lovely person! This place is a CDN must-visit!
Best customer service ever, the food is always so fresh & tasty!! Legit the best bahn mí & poke in town for a small price!! The iced viatnemese coffe is also delicious:-)
This place is a gem filled with delicious food, amazing service, & perfect relaxing vibes. I love the thoughtful design aesthetic & the owner is so friendly & attentive. The poke bowl is fresh & filled with so much flavor as well as the bahn mis. I savored every bite. Get the viet coffee if you like it strong & delish! Will most definitely go back!!!
I got a tuna poke bowl, everything was fresh & tasty. The atmosphere was very calm. I also chitchatted with the owner (he's super nice, even gave me hot tea afterwards).

Stopped in for a quick & tasty Báhn Mì (pork special.) Bun was crisp & fresh, filling nicely balanced. Friendly staff. Quick service. The interior is punctuated with random Asian & beach themed decor, touches of corrugated metal cladding, wood, & simple high bar stools, it is clean & comfortable, reminiscent of a beach hut or easy shop stand. tip: no fresh chilis were added into my sandwich but their really delicious housemade spicy hot sauce made up for that in spades! A little goes a long way & my mouth is watering thinking of it - if you do enjoy some heat, don't forget to ask for it!
Great poke bowl with large portion of fresh salmon. The interior has Beachy / Hawaiian vibes. The owner was extremely friendly & let us watch the Euro Cup on his iPad as we ate. Overall it was an amazing spot to get lunch.

wow!! i've never had a poke bowl like this! the ingredients are so fresh & tasty, it's really amazing. the fact that they have an unagi poke bowl is even more insane! it's SO SO good!!! they're generous with the toppings as well. i got the unagi + tuna + shrimp tempura & it was so delicious their banh mi's are really good too :) the restaurant is very clean & very pretty, small & quaint little spot in CDN. the owner is so so kind & cheerful! what a nice guy! he gave my boyfriend & i water bottles as we had visited during a heatwave & insisted we eat in to enjoy the AC hehe
Very good & tastefull pokeball. The fish is good & fresh & the quantity is good. Try the unagi its my Favorite. The owner M. Kai is very nice & welcoming. He takes time to have a chat with you while preparing the delicious meal.
Literally the best pokebowl I've ever eaten, tastes so fresh, the owner/employees are super nice & the restaurant's beautiful 🥰 I keep coming back & it's always delicious.
The owner serves an excellent Hawaii food. Top fresh ingredients, tastes so many on one plate. An must to stop by & enjoy the delicious meal. If you love banh mi, you have to be early. But the bol de poke is absolutely delicious.
