Service was slow & you need to force eye-contact to get some kind of attention from the server. & they ask minimum 18% tip for the service on the machine, that's awkward. I would say this place is overrated.View more
June 2024: the Bird was a great cocktail. The Sherry cobbler tasted like it should. The pork confit was possibly the best I've ever had. Super tender & flavourful. Sausage was good. Music was excellent this time around. Service was efficient. July 2023: gorgeous terrasse, friendly service, the campino cocktail tastes like its namesake. March 2023: Friendly service. Cocktails were alright.View more
Great vibes & yummy drinks/food, but the service was very disappointing. It was incredibly difficult/slow to get our server to take our orders (& slow to receive our drinks/bill), & at one point we were given the wrong order. I understand busy nights can mean a table slips your mind, but we even noticed another table nearby had the same problem, trying to flag their server down multiple times, & eventually having to stand up & physically approach their server because they were ignored for so long.View more
If you like pickled or fermented foods, Poincaré is the place for you! They have so many delicious foods to try. I particularly like the fermented fries. The tangyness perfectly balances the fried potatoes. Their wine selection is also very good. The Maher wines are very flavorful, & if you visit, you should give them a try!View more
Awesome cocktails & great atmosphere. Kolsch is a must-try too :)View more
You are set for a good start.
Loads of fun sharing plates at this bump'in mecca for tapas-style dishes reflecting the best of Montreal's Chinatown fusion. Great drinks, packed house, dark atmosphere, zesty flavors. Fermentation a hit, so was vindaloo. The Small tables beckon conversation despite the loud din humming. Pleasant spot to observe the Laurent night surge. Ready to return.View more
The server asked us what we wanted & then neglected us for 30 minutes after we decided. There was some miscommunication, & they brought us a dessert we didn't order, & then didn't take it off the bill. It might've been too busy for the number of servers. The fermented fries were not very good, over cooked, & the sourness did not add to fries. Pork was decent. Wine was decent. More concept than follow through. Nice place to sit, albeit loud. Vegetable options are a complete afterthought.View more
Food was closed because it was too late, but will definitely come back for it. Kölsh beer is a specialty, & served perfectlyView more
Went there for dinner. Their wine selection was nice but their food was meh. The Charcuterie platter & the fermented vegetable platter looked like something a 20 year old would have served in their bachelor pad. We went & got sushi after leaving this place.View more
Really fun bar in Chinatown! Good service & tasty drinks. Has a nice terrasse in the summer as well.View more
Service was great though I wish they better marked vegan options. Service was very friendly & quick. Great delicious variety of cocktails, & lots of funky fermented food! Fun place to hangout after work with friends or coworkers, though I really wish the music was a bit lower, it was kinda hard to have a conversation. (I never understand why places like this crank it up so high, don't people come here to talk?)View more
Belle ambiance. Service agréable. Le cocktail Ville Marie Ice Tea est délicieux!View more
Bref, allez-y!View more
Belle microbrasserie avec ambiance cool & décontractée. Produits variés & de qualité.View more
Relaxed ambiance but with service that was slightly slow. Well crafted drinks & strong cocktails.View more
Super cuisine, super bar, SUPER STAFF! Mention spéciale au Punch ❤️View more
Great place with very good fusionish korean food. Had 4 very tasty cocktail called "hawaiian punch" but i suspect it was a sorry victim of skimflation. It was too soft. Otherwise, the vibe is great.View more
