Pizzeria Zac is widely praised as a top vegan pizza spot in Montreal, offering a diverse menu, flavor packed toppings, and a thin, crispy crust that earns frequent compliments. The atmosphere is cozy and the service friendly, with many reviews calling the pizzas delicious and reasonably priced, while a few note that portions can be smaller and better enjoyed as a snack rather than a full meal. Overall, Pizzeria Zac is seen as a reliable and enjoyable destination for vegan pizza lovers and a welcome option for non vegans seeking tasty plant based pies.
My BF scoffs at vegan food... until now. He was clueless his meat-obsessed taste buds were absorbing plants. & now, his whole world (& tongue) has turned upside down. Also gotta add that I loved that the place was playing vinyl, had Simpson's art on the wall ("Lisa needs braces!"), & the dude working there was a unicorn-please be my friend! You don't make friends with salad but here, you actually do! Pizza crust was delicious & Krusty 😉.

Amazing vegan pizza- best I've had in Montreal. We ordered the Mile End & the Diablo, but Mile End was the favorite. Dining in is difficult- only 2 tables. Service was friendly & timely. We'd definitely return back next time we are in town
I am from America, & came here for a visit. Me & my friends have decided this is the best pizza we have ever had. (& didn't know it was vegan until afterwards.) Amazing Pizza, thanks guys!
Delicious Vegan Pizza! They seem to really understand the importance of moderation when it comes to vegan cheese, which can take over & leave a bad texture when not kept in check. They make up for the lack of real cheese by loading their pizzas with delicious toppings & sauces. That's doing vegan pizza right, in my opinion. To be honest, the dough was the part I was most worried about from previous pictures. It looked too thin & crispy around the crust for my liking, where I like to see a nice Neapolitan bubble on my thin crust. I'm happy to say, however, that they absolutely nailed it & I wouldn't change it. It's a delicious mix of crispy & soft. I had the Mile End, & would highly recommend it as a starting point. I can guarantee that I'll be back to try the other pizzas. $13 for an individual (which was enough for a good lunch), is more than reasonable with the price of everything these days.
Pizza was really good! The owner was really nice & welcoming. The atmosphere is good & the music is groovy. Totally recommend if you're in the area! ☮️
