First & last time I'll ever order from here. I made a phone order for pickup, when i arrived to pick it up the little kid at the counter said they didn't make it because one of the toppings (halal pepperoni) was not available. I asked why they took the order in the first place if it wasn't available, he blamed the cashier because she was new. Then i asked why he didn't call to tell me they couldn't make the order, he didn't answer the question just said we cancelled the order. I told him replace the halal pepperoni with ground beef & make that instead, when he hands me the POS machine to pay the price was $10 more than what i was told on the phone. I told him charge me the lower price, after some huffing & puffing he told the cashier to do it. I went to my car to explain to my wife what happened & it will take longer than expected, then went back into the restaurant to wait for our order. After 10 minutes the guy in the kitchen asks what I'm waiting for & i told him, & he responds that he doesn't have that order, came & checked the computer then said he'll make it. So that's another 10 min wasted. I could overhear the cook talking to the boy from the counter, he didn't print out the order & give it just yelled it out. After an almost 30 min delay i get my order, & the cook gave a medium cheese for free which i appreciated. But the attitude of the little kid was pathetic, did not offer any apology for his mistake & took no accountability by blaming it on a new employee. If he knew the topping was not available & he cancelled the order, he should have called to tell me & ask for a substitution or if I wanted to cancel altogether. I don't put any fault on the chef the new employee, only the one who was training her.

While i was there, another person waiting for their order had to tell the boy he missed an item. Seems like there's a very low standard of care in making the orders.

I'm visiting from out of town, always heard my friend Aman praise the pizza from Nikkos. But i didn't know the ownership changed & quality has tanked since then. Wish James told me sooner. Very disappointed, will not be trying this place again. Poor service & management attitude. The only recommendation i can give is to avoid this place.

No, we are sorry to hear that & can't even type'Thanks' correctly, imagine what they are doing in the kitchen lol

If multiple people take their time to tell you the taste has changed, maybe you should take it seriously & consider that the taste did in fact change? I think yall changed to a cheaper pasta that comes from china or something because it taste horrible.

I know I stopped calling there. Tevere Express is such a better place, better EVERYTHING for less.

Have been ordering from nikkos for many years....since the ownership change last year there has been a change in taste....& not to the better. The new owners have probably changed suppliers or the brands of ingredients or have not stuck with the original receipe & method...there are other places to order pizza....try to save a few pennies....ruin a business

Great job Nikkos pizza once again.
Ordered a med. all dressed, thick crust, well done.. Delicious! The crust is usually thicker but not a deal breaker.. sauce on point, not acidic, generous toppings (esp. the cheese).. As for the flop, nothing really considering the weight of this pizza!! Since Nick sold the restaurant, the quality hasn't changed much..I recommend ! it's simply'The Best in the West'

Tasty old school pizza, friendly staff too - Tracy is the best. Great affordable lunch menu with plenty of choices to choose from. Edit: I went mid January 2025, pizza has changed to me it's not as good. The restaurant has new owners apparently. Also unfortunately Tracy no longer works there - bummer. Prices are up too.

My husband & I both grew up working at Nikkos. 10 years ago we moved across the country & every time we are back in Montreal Pizza Nikkos is on our list to visit! We found out today that ownership changed recently. We will miss seeing Nick cooking the best subs & pizzas & George making the best sauces, but after eating our supper tonight we were not disappointed. If anyone knows Nick tell him Adam & Catherine say hi!
