I was excited to try Pistachio after hearing good things, & the space itself is beautiful - modern, cozy, & perfect for catching up with friends. The staff were welcoming, & the presentation of the desserts was honestly impressive.

Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the visuals. Most of the desserts looked luxurious but leaned way too sweet, making it hard to appreciate the individual flavors. Some pastries also lacked freshness & ended up feeling a little dry. For the price they should be upfront or show a price lists, I expected more depth & better texture.

The menu is clearly inspired by Middle Eastern & Mediterranean desserts, with ingredients like pistachio, rose, saffron, & kunafa. I appreciated the concept, but I felt the execution focused more on appearance than flavor.

It's definitely an Instagram-worthy spot, but I wouldn't come back just for the desserts unless the recipes become more balanced. Overall, a decent experience, but not one that matched the hype, sorry.

I came here for the rate but Oreo flavor was frozen & it wasn't smooth enough. But the raspberry flavor was good enough

Like any place, there are pros & cons. First, the cons:
The ambiance is relaxing, clean, & modern, but a little sparse. That's it. That's all the cons.
The pros:
We were greeted by a very friendly employee, who gave generous samples of the gelato. We ordered the sorbet, which was shaped beautifully to create illusion desserts--very well made. & the flavors themselves were bright & fresh.
All in all, a very nice place for a cool dessert on a hot day!

I can't understand how all those food bloggers claim that those trompe-oeil cakes are so tasty & amazing. It's an overpriced crust full of color around basic cream with no flavor or nice texture. Even the cheese cake is sub par. The chocolate ice-cream tastes like cheap basic cacao powder. Everything looks good, but nothing i tried tasted good or was worth the price.

Pistachio is a gem in Montreal for anyone craving authentic & perfectly balanced flavors. The Kunafa Cup is an absolute standout-the texture & sweetness are spot on, making it a must-order every time. Everything here is crafted with high-quality ingredients that really let the traditional flavors shine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the best treats in the city
