A dive bar in the best sense of the the term. Socialable staff & tasty beverages.

& there's metal. Can't forget the metal.

Post-covid, nothing has changed. Bar is still filled with carnivores.

2025/ Still awesome. Still metal.

2026/ 5/5 - would sell my soul c/o Pirahna Bar again.

This is a solid dive/hospitality worker bar. I love it here.
One of the things I adore about this place is that it's for locals & tourists. I've met people from all around the world here.

calling this place a dive bar is almost an insult: great for a post workout beer with all the sport venues upstairs (jiu-jitsu, boxing, indoor football), its all booze, rock & roll, & bartenders in cute goth/metal outfits. you feel a bit back in time, & in the best way. if you are into the whole rock & roll scene, this place will feel like home coming back for a gig for sure, see you guys soon :)

Is this Montréals best dive bar
I dunno but if it is... glad I went.
Had some time to kill before catching a train & so I travelled down rue Sainte Catharine & found this gem.
Decor (sort of run down Canadiana), Casino (game slots on the other side of the space), Music (alternative, rock, metail), & a pool table - I dunno, it all just fit!
Cool drink specials during the day & the service was actually pretty good. Servers came to us for orders & all of it was enough to have tons of talking points.
Screens around to watch any game that is being played was nice.
Didn't realize concerts were played in here as well... maybe next time!
