From Montreal to the Canadian East Coast!

At Pincette- Lobster Bar, transport yourselves to a chic lobster shack in the East Coast of Canada. With lobster as the main item on the menu, our restaurant presents a variety of unique dishes including lobster poutine, lobster pasta, lobster mac and cheese, as well as classic dishes such as lobster rolls and of course, whole lobster. Enjoy a full raw bar as well as a range of seafood platters including Fish & Chips, linguine with clams and oysters.

Pincette - Bar à Homard is a seafood restaurant located in the busy tourist section of Old Montreal. We visited in mid-May 2026 & had some really good food.

For drinks, we had the Mint Refresher ($12) with mint, white cranberries, & gingerale as well as the Peachy Mood ($12) with peach, blood orange, & lime. Both quite refreshing.

For our food, we started with the Snow Crab Ceviche ($24) with black garlic aioli & then moved on to the Lobster Tagliatelle ($42) with black mullet caviar & the Garlic Shrimps ($25) with butter, garlic, & croutons. Pricewise, dishes trend towards the expensive side but in-line with seafood prices & the touristy area. However, the food is quite good & has plenty of flavour. Loved the black mullet caviar in the tagliatelle.

This was one of our fav meals during our visit to Vieux-Montréal.

Lobster & crab poutine. Photo says it all. It was my favorite thing I ate in Montreal! The server kept us laughing quite a bit too, very friendly. My friend had the lobster roll & octopus salad. Highly recommend Pincette.

Went in for a light lunch on a cold day & had the plumpest mussels in a warm leek wine broth, really great flavors. The miso martini was well balanced. The service was a bit chaotic but staff were friendly.

Great seafood in Old Town. The muscles & fries were recommended over the scallops & risotto & I was served with the largest pile of absolutely fantastic tasting muscles that I have had in a very long time. My partner had lobster & pasta & was equally impressed. If you are in Old Town do yourself a favor & dine here. Highly recommended.

Tonight we headed for this nice-looking lobster bar. We were hoping for some lobster freshly cooked to order, but unfortunately they only had pre-cooked. Never mind, the menu had lots of good options.

We started with a few oysters to get us going. These were smallish - just as we like them, sweet & lovely.

Then I chose:

- Crispy Shrimps: Wakame, wasabi mayo & nori chips

Follwd by:

- Mussels & Fries: Iberian chorizo, confit tomatoes, cream, white wine, served with fries

The shrimps were really good & I really liked the accompaniments. A good combination.

The mussels were fat & delicious & the addition of the chorizo was excellent.

The meal was made all the better by an excellent server. Very nice evening.
