Across reviews for Pigeon Espresso Bar, coffee quality is praised as superb or very good, with matcha and flat white favorites noted, while some drinks like cappuccino and certain pastries receive mixed opinions. The atmosphere is described as cozy or artsy with a quirky vibe, though space can feel cramped and the dual setup with a nearby pizza place sometimes halves the experience. Service varies from quick and friendly to average or unfriendly, and price and presentation raise mixed reactions, including disposable cups and desserts not always fresh, but the overall takeaway is a place many people enjoy for reliable coffee and a social, inviting hangout.
Today I enjoyed my tea & smoothie here while reading a book. However, I found layout of the café a bit inconvenient. The narrow corridor made it difficult for people to see the menu while waiting in line to order their drinks. Place divided in two different sections, one selling pizza & the other coffee & pastries. Only two small tables for two close to the windows, & I was fortunate to secure one. Despite this, the café offered some board games, which added to the overall ambiance. It seemed like a popular spot for people to gather, enjoy pizza or coffee, & engage in games. However, the combination of pizza, coffee, & board games felt a bit mismatched to me.

They don't make them like this anymore. Quick, nice & very good job of a great espresso. They girl who makes the espressos is great & the small is just big enough to have one of the best coffees in the city. Drawback is that everything else feels a bit too expensive.
Wanted to find a coffee shop to work at & chose Pigeon Espresso bar because of the good reviews. It definitely has amazing coffee & snacks & has ample seating room for you to sit & work. The staff was very accommodating & nice as I was there for about 3 hours. I ordered the confetti cookie, mocha & flat white which were all solid items. Keep in mind that working there is a little hard if you're going to be on calls as the music is pretty easy to hear.
Amazing maple latte! The best latte we had in Montreal.
Espresso was good too but I would have preferred it on a regular small cup. But the maple latte was simply fantastic.
Interesting brand too…
