Went today in the morning, Shakshukas & the atmosphere were really good, but the service wasn't up to the task: #1 they took about 25mins without taking our order until we needed to get up & call one of the waiters; #2 we requested a baby chair from minute one, but they also forgot to bring it, & again, we needed to get up to remind them; #3 one of us ordered a regular coffee, but got an americano with some kind of chocolate cake, which apparently was ordered by our neighbor table, one more time, we needed to get up & call one of the waiters so they could take the coffee & cake back; #4 we also ordered a salad, but we didn't get it along with the main dishes because the waiter forgot to put it in the order, though he managed to get it quite quick, probably in less than 5mins; #5 got the impression that the waiters serving our table had nearly no experience, or they weren't happy about their job, or maybe both; all waiters serving our table had a "I don't care" attitude. Pigeon Caffe has great food, its in an amazing location, & have a cozy atmosphere, I'll come back for sure, but hopefully management takes this review into accountView more

The waffle fries are very good. The chicken was also delicious. The salad was ok. In general, they don't a lot of meals. & I find their meals expensive relative to the portion.View more

L'acceuil est bien, rien à rajouter. & l'emplacement est top. Le pain au saumon, est basic & la quantité ne vaut pas le prix. Si vous cherchez une explosion d'émotion, alors ce n'est pas la bonne place. Selon moi c'est cher pour ce que c'est. Par contre, leur limonade est bon & frais.View more

The food was quite basic & disappointing, to be honest. I ordered the shakshuka, but there was nothing special about it. I was expecting a burst of flavors. However, the presentation can definitely enhance the dining experience, especially for a dish like shakshuka. The vibrant colors & the way the ingredients are arranged can make it more appealing!View more
j'ai été manger, au pigeon / saint-laurent, avant celui-ci. Celui-ci les crêpe était moins bonne. Le service est tel que mentionner, dans les évaluations ( mauvais). On nous a offert une table de façon désintéressé ( comme une corvée ) . Quand j'ai demandé un café, on m'a dit de demander à la serveuse ( un peu comme un fonctionnaire 😂). On a dû demander à 3 personnes différentes pour avoir notre deuxième café. ( d'ailleurs café non inclu dans le repas + dispendieux, pour un tel service) Personne n'est venue nous voir à notre table, pendant le repas. On a demandé à plusieurs reprises nos factures. On sait déplacer au comptoirs, car personne n'est venu nous la donner & cette dernières n'était toujours pas prête. 🤣View more
Service was good to start then got quite slow. We were seated immediately & given coffee/tea quickly. That's where it went downhill. The restaurant had one guy doing the door & seating people, taking orders & doing the bills. He was good but constantly on the go whereas the other employees seemed to be wandering around not doing nearly as much. Food was alright, however no cutlery, ketchup, salt or pepper on the table or butter served with bagel.View more
Food is good, service is awful & indifferent & the noise level is deafening. On the two occasions I have frequented Pigeon Cafe on Monkland, it took more than ten minutes to be seated - even though there were multiple empty seats & tables & between three & six service staff at the bar, plus a line of people waiting to be seated. Once seated, service is super slow. It's like the staff just don't give a damn, they seem to be more interested in talking to each other. The saving grace? The food is good. But at the price & the cost of a less than great dining experience, I won't be going back any time soon, or recommending it to others.View more
Food is great but service depends on the location, the Monkland one has bad service. The waiting was so long to order & to get a simple order. We would at least appreciated if someone came & checked from tome to time.View more
