Piel Canela offers an intriguing & original menu, but the taste doesn't quite deliver. The duck sandwich was overly salty, & overall, the food was average. However, if you're a fan of extravagant cocktails & coffees, this spot is worth a visit.

Food was exceptional. We ordered one of their specialty lattes. Can't remember the name but it had a pistachio rim & came with a pistachio covered shortbread cookie on top which was divine. We also ordered the pork belly hash brown dish & the granola "buenos Dias" bowl, both of which were delicious & presented beautifully. Our server was lovely & attentive. Place is definitely a vibe with an upbeat atmosphere. If you're looking for a quiet/cozy breakfast this isn't the place as they had a dj playing music which was a touch too loud for us, but if you're looking for a fun meal, this is a great spot!

Je trouve le concept super & tout donnait envie sur la carte. La serveuse était gentille mais tête en l'air, elle n'inscrivait rien & elle nous a posé 3 fois les mêmes questions. Quand on a reçu nos plats, ça avait l'air délicieux mais c'était soit trop sucré, soit vraiment trop salé. C'est même la première fois que je trouvais un plat trop salé parce que je suis plutôt tolérante à ce genre de chose, mais là c'était vraiment pas possible. On nous met la pression pour manger en 1h30 également. Aussi, les tables à l'avant étaient vides, mais on nous a installé tout à l'arrière, près des cuisines. La déco est top, le concept super, la réalisation... je ne reviendrai pas. Trop cher aussi pour ce que c'est: 55$ en tout pour un plat & une boisson. Je suis ok pour payer ce prix quand ça les vaut, mais là clairement, ça ne les valait pas.

The food looks really aesthetic & the food was good as well as the service but it's waaaaay overpriced for what it is. I ended up paying 40$ for pancakes. It's not worth it for me.

Such. An. Amazing. Place! This brunch restaurant opened just three months ago, & they serve brunches marrying Latino & Québécois cuisine, & the food is just so good! Their drinks' & food presentations are A1, makes you want to try all of them! & not only does the presentation not disappoint, the taste is... chef's kiss! It's a bit hard to spot this place as the street sign is still the previous restaurant's sign, you have to look on the door to know it's this restaurant - or just go by the address number! The service is also amazing. Would definitely recommend & definitely go back!

I went to Piel Canela for brunch on a Saturday. The food was full of flavor (just what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant), & the ingredients were of good quality. The service was great, we received the food very quickly & all the people who served us were super nice. The down side, though-which might not be really a downside, but more of a personal preference-, is that the music is super loud inside the restaurant. We were lucky that there was room for us outside on the terrace, which was excellent. But if we hadn't found room outside, we wouldn't have stayed. This is our second time at the place, the first time was when we dined at Caifan (same place, but different cuisine), & we thought the same thing. Very good food, excellent service, but the loud music can be a little bit annoying. As I said, this is a personal preference, some people might like to have music at this volume while they eat.

Cute restaurant 😊 nice ambiance. The food was well presented but as for the taste it was ok. The service was good. I didn't feel as confortable as the restaurant was crowded so maybe that was the reason that it was a little too hot in the restaurant.

Une équipe au petit soin, un dj qui assure l'ambiance avec un volume sonore qui permet de s'entendre, des cocktails de qualité, & surtout une nourriture qui te fait penser à revenir pour goûter le menu.
