Our skin carries the customs, roots, and traditions that shape our identity. It is the sparkle of the stars that guided us north, the hidden abundance of our mountains, and the endless blue of the sea that rocked us in childhood.

Piel Canela is more than just a Latin restaurant in Montreal, it’s an invitation to travel through culture and flavor from the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, on vibrant Saint-Denis Street. Absolutely delightful!! Wonderful venue, service was perfect! Manager & waitresses always there to check if everything goes as desired. Food was good I'll maybe suggest more options & a few sucré-salé for brunch. Delicious Mimosas 🥂🍾 thanks for making us feel like home with our celebration. Definitely come back. Juliana

Had a great brunch experience at Piel Canela. The food was delicious & original, having a mix of Latino inspired cuisine. The presentation was fantastic as well. Would definitely recommend if you're in Montreal looking for a good & different brunch experience

Came here during the week their opening & was impressed with how Piel Canela offers a brunch menu full of exciting & different flavors. Most brunch menus have the same old dishes like eggs benedict & toast. Piel Canela changes things up by adding tasty Latin American spices & ingredients to their food & drinks, making it a unique experience. The Pancakes del Amanecer are a yummy twist on the classic pancake. These pancakes are aromatic, fluffy & light, but what makes them different are the caramelized apple butter, dolce de leche toppings, & more! If you're feeling for something more savoury, the Shakshouka Piel Canela is a must-try dish! The sauce is flavourful, with just the right amount of heat & served with warm, focaccia bread, perfect for dipping & scooping up every bit of the yummy sauce. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet & fruity or savory & spicy, Piel Canela has something to satisfy your cravings!

Went there for a birthday brunch with friends & we loved it! The staff was very sweet, the ambiance is beautiful & colourful, the food presentation is gorgeous & it tasted so good! The coffees are very original & tasty. Definitely looking forward to going back!

Tried the Sandwich Condorito, amazing!! Their café de la Olla is also very good A Mexican friend almost cried tasting it, saying it reminded of how their grandmother used to make it :) Just go & eat there, you won't regret it

Decided on this Latin flavour based brunch place to treat our family for birthdays. Did not disappoint. Being a group of 6 we sampled a lot of the menus. Everything served was absolutely beautiful, familiar flavours of our vacations throughout Mexico but elevated. Highly recommend for a group as there are just so many options. Sweet, savoury, tangy. Lovely cocktails smoothies, & special coffees. They were unfortunately out of pastries so we have to go back to try the little piggies!

Merveilleux restaurant avec sympathique terrasse! Nous avons reçu un service attentionné du début à la fin. Les boissons sont désaltérantes & savoureuses. La nourriture est succulente 👌, nous reviendrons assurément pour essayer les autres options lors de notre prochaine visite ♡ Gracias encore a notre serveuse Victoria ! :)

Nous avons commandé "Las papas benditas", un smoothie "Rythmo de la selva" & un "cafe de la olla". Les boissons étaient délicieuses. Le repas cependant nous a déçus. Les morceaux de flanc de porc étaient pleins d'eau comme s'ils avaient été décongelés. Les oeufs étaient trop cuits. Les pomme de terre étaient bonnes, mais malgré le chimichurri & la crème de chimichurri, les patates roulent dans la bouche car trop sec. Le service était bien. Le restaurant est bien décoré.
