Chilaquiles aguados y sin salsa de jitomate. No llevaron ni queso ni crema. Una salsa de licuado de frijoles de lata cono algo de habanero. Un sólo huevo. Eso por 25$.

Claire nous a fourni un super service, les plats & boissons sont très bons mais un peu chers pour la taille des portions, reservation recommandée car il y a beaucoup de monde! La boisson au Chicha Morada est super bonne, belle découverte 🇵🇪

Latin brunch in the heart of the Plateau, grapefruit mimosa, garnachas filled with chicharrón prensado & requesón, cactus salad, & chilaquiles bathed in morita sauce with perfect eggs, beans, queso fresco, & red onion.
Finished with a tropical French toast layered with maracuya cream, pineapple compote, coconut crunch, & a splash of rum.
A feast that tastes like sunshine & rhythm on a plate. #PielCanela #Montreal

I had an amazing brunch experience at Piel Canela on Saint-Denis in Montreal! From the moment I walked in, I loved the interior, the decoration, the way the tables are set, the cozy bar, every small detail is so well thought out. The restaurant is spotless, & the atmosphere is super warm & welcoming.
The staff were friendly, attentive, & kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
I ordered the Bagel San Pastor & honestly, it was perfect! The combination of feta cheese, grilled pineapple, crispy garlic, & smoked salmon was absolutely 100/100! I had the latté Satinado, it was good, though I wish the white chocolate flavor was a bit stronger.
& you can't miss Pan De Muerto their famous homemade brioche, available only on weekends. So soft, flavourful & rich in orange blossom.
Overall, I highly recommend this resto if you're looking for a cozy spot for brunch with great food, friendly service, & reasonable prices.
