Our skin carries the customs, roots, and traditions that shape our identity. It is the sparkle of the stars that guided us north, the hidden abundance of our mountains, and the endless blue of the sea that rocked us in childhood.

Piel Canela is more than just a Latin restaurant in Montreal, it’s an invitation to travel through culture and flavor from the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, on vibrant Saint-Denis Street. Our menu highlights authentic tastes: from freshly prepared ceviche to chilaquiles as flavorful as in Mexico, from colorful and creative cocktails to reinvented crêpes for brunch.

Walked in here for a Saturday brunch & were blown away!! Between the food & service by Anaël & Xavier, I couldn't have been happier. outstanding. They were so attentive, friendly, & had so much knowledge on the dishes!! This is a MUST try for when you're exploring Montreal & want something unique & fun. Bravo! We will be back. This is what the modern Mexican cuisine should be about. It maintains the traditional flavours & combines them with very interesting twists & textures to create masterful pieces. The food & beverages are excellent & the service is spot on. Definitely one of my favourite places.

A must try! Portions are small but very rich in flavor & color. We were just looking at everyone's order around us. The mix of tastes with the artistic play of colors satisfies all senses! It was not pricy as I imagined. The beverages were unique. They have a great chef! I ordered Salade Costena de Pieuvre. It was full of Octopus meat & very tasty. My friend had the French Toast & she said it was very light & not comparable to anything she has tried before! It was served with an apple sauce, she felt it tasted like heaven I highly recommend it. Its small you've better reserve. The vibes are great for young people. The music is a bit loud if you look for a cozy place. I really admired the interior design. You will not be disappointed! I don't recommend to go with a kid!

The food is amazing, & the Latin twist adds so much flavor to every dish ✨ The place is nice clean & the music is enjoyable! I highly recommend the shakshuka, chilaquiles, & their desserts! The staff is incredibly friendly, & the manager is very attentive. Thank you I will definitely come back!

Piel Canela in Montreal is truly a gem! Although it was a bit far from our hotel, we decided to give it a try - & we're so glad we did. The service was cordial, friendly, & quick, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast along with a few cocktails at 11am (5pm somewhere in the world!). The atmosphere is beautiful & fun, & the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Piel Canela.
