Restaurant Phuket in the St-Leonard district of Montreal is not your usual Thai cuisine restaurant, this restaurant is a Fusion of Thai and Sushi and both cuisines are highly recommended. Authentic for their Thai with a unique blend of flavors, herbs and spices creating an interesting and delicious combination, and fresh and tasty for their Sushi which is now one of Phuket`s most popular choices.
A Thai meal pleases diners with an harmony of tastes - sweet, sour, hot, spicy and salty. In a meal, all five tastes should be present. A typical Thai meal consists of an appetizer or two - perhaps hot or cold spring rolls and a salad - be it of green mango, papaya or cold beef. Soup is the well-loved Thom yum goong or seafood with coconut milk, tinged with lemongrass. There's usually a curry dish - an emerald curry or a red curry, perhaps a whole fried fish, and noodles, all served with steamed rice. For dessert, look for the delicious fried ice cream topped with honey and chocolate syrup.

Phuket est un beau restaurant avec des bons plats qui sont accompagnés d'un excellent service. Les serveurs sont acceuillants & rapide. Les portions sont généreuses & les saveurs sont authentiques. On a eu l'occasion de fêter l'anniversaire d'un ami & les serveurs nous ont bien accompagnés pour le gâteau sans nous charger un supplément pour servir le gâteau comme d'autres restaurant. Je revriendrais très bientôt! Phuket is a beautiful restaurant with good dishes that are accompanied by an excellent service. The servers are welcoming & fast. The portions are generous & the flavors are authentic. We had the opportunity to celebrate a friend's birthday & the waiters helped us with the cake without charging us extra to serve the cake like other restaurants. I will come back very soon!View more

Le sauté de poulet à la citronnelle était excellent: servi bien chaud, légumes croustillants (pas trop cuits), une grosse portion, & très savoureux! Comme dessert: une délicieuse banane frite avec une GROSSE boule de crème glacée, décorée de deux belles tranches d'orange avec du sirop au chocolat.
Le service est vraiment sympathique: humain & attentionné. La musique est bonne & on ne nous pousse pas pour sortir de table rapidement. & comme on apporte notre vin, ça fait une belle soirée abordable!
Ce n'est pas pour rien qu'ils sont ouverts depuis si longtemps! Je vais y retourner c'est certain.

You have to realize it's a fusion menu catered to the white man.
It's not gonna be fabulous Thai, Japanese or Chinese food. It's middle of the road eats.
Bring your own wine with a dépanneur next door that sells over-priced bottles if you forget to go to SAQ.View more
