Very good broth very generous portion of meat & veggies in the large soups. I could tell on the phone when I ordered the atmosphere was not going to disappoint, & it didn't. The take out packaging is done with great attention to detail & care for the produce. The reusable bag is a great feature; I will be using it to come back in the future! Staff is very professional & kind 10/10 make sure to call & pickup or dine-in to support the business directly.
Excellent restaurant vietnamien sur St-Denis coin Beaubien. Nous avons pris la soupe du nom du restaurant, la Dac Biet Pho Tay Ho, avec boeuf saignant, steak de flanc & boulettes de viande. La viande de boeuf goûtait vraiment bon ! Saignant ! Avec les accompagnements de fines herbes, fèves germées & citron, quoi demander de mieux qu'une bonne soupe réconfortante en hiver. Service froid & efficace, on privilégie ici l'exécution rapide & c'est très bien comme ça. Paiement au comptoir dès que vous avez terminé votre repas en fait une très bonne option pour les midis pressés. Décoration intérieure vieille & défraîchie, pas grave, les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité - $22 par personne avec taxes & services. Cozy place for a hearty bowl of Pho! The bowls are generous & the broth is delicious. Service is very quick but our appetizers were forgotten & we had to remind them. I would come back again!
Premier essai aujourd'hui pour deux : on a pris la soupe Pho Tai #10 & le poulet sauté à la citronnelle #33 & c'était vraiment trop bon. Le boeuf de la pho est vraiment tendre & les saveurs du #33 étaient immédiatement excellentes & au dessus de nos attentes à la première bouchée. Ils ont probablement le meilleur poulet citronnelle de Montréal, voir du Québec.
The pho was really good, love the quality of beef as well. however the service was HORRIBLE. The waiter was sideyeing us & we asked a bowl of pho without onions & green onions, but we got one with onions. We kindly asked them to take out the onion, but the soup came back with no topping at all (they took out the cilantro too)...
They used to be known for the best chicken pho in town. I haven't been there for years. I recently got takeout for supper. I ordered the chicken pho, the grilled pork vermicelli, & bun cha Hanoi. Also got the chicken salad & the beed salad. The pho is still as generous as before, but the chicken & the broth were lacking flavour. The grilled pork was dried & hard to chew. I used to love their chicken salad, but this time, the mixture was missing something. Maybe not enough lime or msg. The beef salad was ok, but I find it weird that they put canh chu leaves inside. The food was ok but kinda miss the old flavors.
