Display Allpho(18) soup(10) spring roll(6) generous(5) thai(4) vietnamese(4) recommend(4) price(4) général tao(3) spring(3) rolls(3) noodles(3)As our usual pho restaurant was closed, we decided to try this one. The menu is extensive, & consists of a strange mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, & Thai dishes. We ordered the XL phos & the spring rolls. The pho was pretty good, & the XL size was very generous with meats. The bean sprouts & basil leaves served with the pho were very fresh. On the other hand, the spring rolls were just overfilled with rice noodles & tasted bland, so would not recommend. Overall, a very decent pho experience, although not our favorite.
As much I would like to continue supporting this small business, I am heavily disappointed in my experience with this restaurant despite ordering a delicious pho & a ridiculously priced coffee however it doesn't mean that the server's staff are entitled for a tip. & yet I did not complain the 6$ coffee that can be easily made in an Asian market plus the noodle were so thinly sliced to the point of being close to translucent. Respectfully the staff were nice & the food was decent. The entitlement that came from the staff was extremely unprofessional & rude for judging me, if there was an automatic gratuity then I would've still payed for it even if it's still expensive & yet the server has again disappointed my lowest expectations. I do not recommend this restaurant if anyone likes being disrespected & judged for not tipping.
I've been a customer at Pho Moderne for a long time, but I hadn't come back in a while. After my partner passed away, I didn't feel ready to return.
Today I came back, & I was warmly welcomed-they still recognized me, which meant a lot. The place feels just as warm & inviting as I remembered. The food is still amazing, especially their Tonkinoise soup, which is truly unmatched.
Being back brought me many beautiful memories. Thank you for your kindness & for continuing to create such a comforting atmosphere.
I take out my pho from this restaurant (I customized my soup to my taste)😝🤪
1 thing I noticed about eating from them each time after my pho, I don't have that strange dehydrated mouth aftertaste like in other pho places🤔....likely they dont add MSG or excessive salt😃👍
Staff is friendly & quick service. Always come here for pho, & I feel it's the best in the area.
i love this pho restaurant. great atmosphere, great service, the server lady is always smiling & calming jazz music
Their General Tao is steaming hot & delicious, with generous portions. The pho might be one of the best in town. Friendly service too!
This place offers a good quality price, but it is not the best pho or BBQ rice I ate because I found everything on the sweet side. But one thing is certain for the price, the portions are generous.
Their chicken is simply the best. They have good pho & spring rolls (the only thing I tasted this far). The lady is also very nice :) definitely recommend.
An unassuming Vietnamese restaurant near Cote Vertu metro. They have a lot of Chinese, Thai & Vietnamese options. Portion sizes are massive & pretty tasty. We ordered the seafood crispy noodles & they were fried noodles with a nice gravy. The pho had a lot of broth & meat & their tofu dish is very refreshing. Nice place to get food!
Pleasant staff, I would like to immediately note, & quite decent pho, & most importantly large portions. The place itself is not exciting, but I recommend coming here to eat, it's ok, solid average🤝
