The food was nasty especially the appetizers.
All the dips were horrible, the hummus, the garlic, the eggplant dip all terrible! The calamar was chewy & tasteless & the fried eggplant had 0 salts. Main meal were okay I had the sea bass with a full can of capres on top. Ceasar salad disgrace. Kept swatting flies & fruit flies off our plates. Floaties in the ice water. Chicken skewers were fine, impossible to mess up but the Tzatziki was bland. The server was very good tho. Wouldn't recommend going the food is extremely overpriced for the quality & taste.

The food is fantastic! Just delicious went for a group party & had shared meals. The mix dish of all meat 🥩 wow so mouth watering. side dishes from patatos to Greek salad from flambé cheese .. just mentioning it I want to go back ! A little loud but the restaurant was completely full so normal I guess. You will keep going back but make reservations as they are very busy!

The place was bustling & a bit louder than expected. The pork & chicken souvlaki sticks were decent, but the sides were quite dull, literally a whole crown of broccoli. They came with a basic salad, & there was an extra charge to upgrade to a Greek salad, which felt odd for a Greek restaurant.

Nous avons été servi par Sharon, une employée très attentionnée, souriante & gentille. Malgré que le restaurant était plein, le service était rapide & les plats étaient très bons, autant la viande, que les salades & le dessert. C'est un super endroit pour manger de la nourriture grecque ! 😊

I don't know where to start so let's enter inside first ..

The first encouter you get will most likely set the tone for the rest & the manager at the door did just that. A zombie that looked at me top to bottom like i didn't belong there.

Philinos gives you a sense of high end, higher standard type of greek restaurant but its not..

I payed 39$ for a small bowl of rubber fried calamari
17$ for a bland grec salad (again another small bowl), 68$ for 2 pieces of 5cm lamb & half inch chicken filets (at least that was good)
36$ for 3 Baklava cheesecake.
Side note** we celebrated 3 birthdays at once. None even one of the cheescake was gifted.

I got robbed. The waiteress was very good but left alone on a crowded restaurant. All that to get the payment terminal ripped from my hands & vanishing without saying anything. Philinos was based on someone's recommandation while any other greek restaurant would've done better.

My family was deeply disspapointed. Manager should greet, make sure she's properly staffed & to stop robbing people. We're no fools

I will never go back nor recommend this place.

Been to Philinos ave du Parc years ago & was solid. Here not so much. Service was really slow. Waited 30+ minutes for our starter salads then another 30+ minutes for the main course. Food was ok not great. Sea bass was 55$ which i found a little steep. You can get a steak at the Keg for less. Anyway, waitress was nice but certainly won't keep Philinos on my list of options when dining out

Nous sommes allés manger hier soir & c'était excellent, un vrai restaurant Grec, Harry nous a fait goûté une excellente salade entrée (salade finement découpé, aneth, oignon vert, vinaigrette au citron) Nous y retournerons certainement.

Recently went to the Laval location with a large group of friends. The place was really empty & they seemed decidedly upset that we kept them there on a Sunday evening. The waiter was arrogant & straight up rude. Their Greek salad was an embarrassment. I could easily make it better at home. The octopus was tough & tasteless. The sea bass, however, was very good. Since there are many better options for Greek in the Montreal-Laval area & because the service was awful, I would not go back & cannot recommend it.

Very much enjoyed. Excellent souvlaki. Large excellent (fresh) Greek salad not skimping on the feta (although I like more olives). Others in the party also very pleased with their meals. We were with 3 Paralympic athletes & staff were excellent with all of us.

We just celebrated my son's confirmation & truly had a remarkable experience from booking the restaurant & the day of the event. I want to thank Terri for being hospitable & welcoming from minute one.He truly is a pleasure to deal with & very accommodating. We truly enjoyed the delicious food , amazing mouth watering appetizers, beautiful presentation & truly tasteful all around. The calamari were perfectly cooked , served hot! Octopus salad so fresh & tasty! The meat platter a must try alongside potatoes! A special thank you to our waitress Tiana; truly a delightful young lady who served us graciously & with a smile! I truly recommend this restaurant for a special event, intimate dinner or a night out with friends! Great ambiance, DELICIOUS food & amazing staff & service! Adriana 😊
