View more
Très bon déjeuner. Essayer la carte santé à l'avocat sinon les patates avec la sauce hollandaise délicieuxView more
Tout était très bien ! Le service , la bouffe . Les prix partout comme ailleurs.View more
Omelette végétarienne très décevante manquait d'assainissement & de légumesView more
This restaurant is grossly overpriced & has the worst coffee.View more
I had high hopes based on the reviews but overall the food & service were disappointing. The waitress was kind but most of the staff seemed to be on a break & so it took a very long time to be served. The portions were very large & kids were happy with their pancakes & crepes & french toast. But the poutine was a disaster-shredded Monterrey Jack instead of curds, & drowned in hollandaise sauce. The eggs Benedict also came drowned in sauce. & the smoked meat was mediocre.View more
I have always loved Petinos; in fact, I make it a point to go to one of their locations anytime I am in Montreal. We visited yesterday (August 18-2024), arrived at around 12.20pm, it was busy enough, with three other groups ahead of us in line. We got a table within about 20 mins. The place used to be a different restaurant, the place shows its age, but it is clean & cozy. We sat at the booth, & were served coffee, but the cram & milk bowl was empty - only had one cream in it. The servers were very busy & seems to be outnumbered & were rushing to serve & keep up. I put the milk/cream bowl at the edge of the table & the server comes by, empties another bowl of 4 milks in it & keeps walking away, I wait for her to come back & while she was walking away from the booth behind us, I asked her to "please bring us some cream". She seemed unhappy for some reason, & came back & took the other bowl, then "dropped" the full one on our table... The coffee was very light, almost like water with a hint of coffee. My daughter ordered a smoothie (Zenith) - don't get the naming but ok... Needless to say, again, it tasted like crushed ice (water) with a hint of Mangoes & coconut... We finally got a chance to order food; We ordered a crepe with strawberries (For my daughter), the half waffle with mixed berries, & the the Greek omelet - of course the Omelet & Half waffle plates come with potatoes & fruits, etc... The Crepe was good & tasty. However, they did not put any chocolate on it (Nutella); when I inquired, the server said they don't do that for that one (Although they do for the other crepes)... hmmm she offered to get some (Nutella) in a small jar, with a smile, so that made my daughter happy - only to find out later they charged us $1 for that & the server never mentioned this was extra... the smile came at a cost I guess... Mind you, Nutella is just plain grease & nothing about it is real chocolate, but whatever... My wife asked for the tomatoes be substituted with Onions for the Greek Omelet, & again, we find out at the end that they charged $1 for this "change" (see receipt...)... As I said, the crepe was good. The Omelet was also tasty, although the fries were terrible (more on that in a sec). The plate of Waffle with mixed berries came with two eggs scrambled, ham, beans & fries. It was tasty & the presentation is nice, as usual. The eggs were great, the waffle & fruits delicious & fresh. BUT, those fries were horrible - I mean they were soggy & soft, over friend & oily, nothing to the delicious fries & potatoes I've had in the Laval locations. Just see the pics. Overall, we were very disappointed with this location & I don't think I'd go again when in Saint Sauveur - there are other choices & likely better. I would advise the management to (1) take care of the staff & ensure they hire "happy" servers, (2) upkeep & ensure the quality that Petinos customer are accustomed to... I've been to the locations in Laval many times & never left disappointed... I guess there is always a "first time"... My expectations are that for the cost of such plates, the quality should be tops & my intention here is to provide an honest & constructive review, so I hope it's not viewed in any other way or context...View more
