Avis pour Peking Garden Restaurant

If I can give less stars, I would!!!!! Do not order from here. It was an Uber eats order, I waited an 1:20 just to throw this food in the garbage. The Cantonese seafood noodles tasted stale & the shrimp was mushy & disgusting. The hot & sour soup had a weird taste like dirty water. The General Tao chicken was mostly soggy dough with barely any meat. Eating here will make you sick or have the belly runs so I highly do not recommend it!!!
This is fake Chinese cuisine. Authentic Chinese food is nothing like this.
A Southeast Asian individual is preparing the food with poor technique. The tables are greasy, & the waiter service is non-existent. When selecting the tip, the machine demands a minimum of 25%. When I refused, he made a terrifying face & clearly cursed at me in a language that was not Chinese.
Even authentic Chinese people from Quebec avoid this place & absolutely never visit it
rat ran after me while i was exiting the restaurant. young boy server was very young & rude to me his name alan i think. mean to me. bad if you get him. rat everywhere in my socks
We have never been disappointed with the food & service at Peking Garden. The staff is very friendly & accommodating to some small modifications we request to our entree orders - such as no onions in the dishes but changes to scallions / shallots. Food always arrives at the table piping hot & tasty.
Not very good Chinese food. Typical of the West Island. Lacking decent Chinese food.
Love the dumplings & peanut butter sauce. Great place to bring a big group. My family comes here all the time
Food is always delicious, huge portions & service with a smile & jokes!
Dining room is a little passed its prime but nonetheless a great time!
Went there a few times. The lunch special is probably the best choice. If you buy a la carte it is way more expenssive. Food taste ok but i definitely had better. Got a chicken fried rice with 1 gram of chicken yes you got that right. ONE gram. Other recipes are ok just so expenssive these days. Definitely better locations in montreal.
This is the restaurant of my childhood. My family has been coming here regularly since they came here in the 1960's. In my lifetime, I have never had a single problem or complaint with anything. Thousands of dollars have been spent here, & every single one was worth it.
Underwhelming. 1) general Tsao had no flavor, 2) beef & broccoli had too much salt/msg. 3) Hot & sour was good 4) veggie dumplings were ok IMO but my wife likes them 5) noodle dish was good. Service was ok & perhaps the best part was the look of the restaurant being ok. Not every place will be 5 stars & they're not going to ever get there but there's some room for improvement to get to 4 or 4.5 stars. Their current rating of 3.6 stars is spot on, as when I polled my family & I guessed 3.6 clearly reflects them overall accurately.
Stumbled the plan this restaurant I found the food really authentic & really good service is very fast & very polite. I go back again & I recommend it.
Really should wrap the soups in a bag. Nearly lost my whole order when I picked up the paper bag that was soaked through.
In my opinion, Jardin Pékin is the best place to get Chinese food in the West Island. It is always excellent & the staff is extremely friendly.
