My family has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years since first moving to DDO from LaSalle (I am 38 now with my own family of 4) & it has been the quality & quantity of the food (as well as the friendly staff) that has kept us going back. The dishes pictured are Black Pepper Chicken (old style),Chili Beef with shredded carrots & scallions & Fried Fish with Black Bean Sauce. The chef is still the same from 30 years & although the owners & wait staff have changed, there is no need to concern oneself with worry about the quality of the food; it is still EXCELLENT! I cannot comment on the wait staff but the new owners (especially the wife) are kind enough, as I've only done takeout orders since ownership of the restaurant changed years ago. Also, takeout orders get a 10% discount 😁

WARNING: Do NOT order from them if you want delivery. They use extremely cheap paper bags. They get greasy, & you lose your food. This happened twice to me already & apparently twice to my uber eats driver.

Absolutely old disgusting establishment with even worse Canadianized food. Poor service as well, treat you horribly like a dog. Do not come here !

As a West Islander I,
use to live this place for years. Now it's hit or miss not consistent. My las order the general Tao was 90% empty batter .

Recently people gave this restaurant a hard time but it is not true. I have been going for over 20 years. The employees are nice. For the price you are getting great portions, fresh & tasty food. Even for takeout the price is very reasonable & tasty. I highly recommend!

Je n'ai jamais visité ce restaurant, mais je laisse cet avis pour informer les gens qui envisagent d'y aller.

Des informations rendues publiques récemment dans les médias, notamment par Le Journal de Montréal, font état de problèmes sérieux liés à la salubrité dans cet établissement, incluant des enjeux de vermine & d'hygiène. Ces éléments proviennent de constats officiels rapportés publiquement.

Comme client potentiel, ce genre d'information est préoccupant & mérite d'être pris en considération. La propreté & la salubrité devraient toujours être une priorité dans un restaurant.

Je recommande fortement à toute personne intéressée de consulter les sources disponibles, comme les rapports d'inspection du MAPAQ, afin de se faire sa propre opinion avant de s'y rendre.
