Fabulous Peking Duck with all the pancakes & filling. The chow mein is terrific as were the salt & pepper shrimp. The decor feels tired but this place has been around for ages - so qualifies as a MTL classic.
Very bad experience today around 7:30 PM. The man at the reception was aggressive & very unprofessional. He even refused to give an order to a delivery driver & told him to go out in a disrespectful way. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for customer service.

L'attente est interminable, alors que le restaurant n'était même pas plein. En plus, l'endroit n'est pas propre , ambiance très désagréable. Bref, perte de temps & d'argent. Je ne reviendrai jamais & je déconseille fortement cet endroit à toute personne qui se respecte.
First of all, they are so good at catering to my boyfriend's allergies so shout out for that. His family orders it & today we decided to order it ourselves & it was the best it's ever tasted. Low-key thank you for your service because that egg foo young was fire. Also great spot with nostalgic decor & really good for spotting local celebrities.
We enjoyed the dinner for 2. Great value for your money. Clean, & relaxing atmosphere. Friendly customer service, lots of space & very quick. Recommend the hot & sour soup.
Je ne recommande à personne de venir ici. Le personnel est complètement antipathique & désagréable. Pourquoi avoir un restaurant si votre service est déplorable ?

Can't believe found the roasted duck wraps here! Just the same as my hometown food!
Walked in... Saturday evening...place is filled with old people.......right away I knew it would not be flavorful...& it was exactly that....the duck was the only thing that was tasty.... everything else was boring..2 1/2* actually

One of my favorite restaurants in area, & my go to for take out. They have an extensive menu, so you're always bound to find something tasty that perfectly fits your mood. When dining in, try their preset combos: they are perfect for sharing & trying a bunch of dishes at the same time.
Chinese comfort food done right. Great food & service, great owners. I pick up the General Tao combo every week after my son's violin class in NDG. Are my arteries hardening? Yes. But is it worth it? Also yes. Keep up the great work.

Won ton soup...2 portions , had very doughy, pasty wontons...with NO fillings in the wontons...in either soup....
My order of sweet/ sour fish....came with a syrupy, sickeningly sweet' candy' sauce with red peppers & canned pineapple floating in it
luckily I had asked for it on the side...
so ate the fish with the rice
my daughter's dish was beef & broccoli ...she enjoyed her dish
🤔paid $75+

Best Hunan dumplings around town !! Must try woth friends, order lots of food & share together, every I tasted was amazing. General Tao chicken was crispy & succulent
Pekin Garden Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The food is consistently delicious & reasonably priced, offering excellent value for money. The comfortable seating & friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere perfect for casual family meals. Despite some lower reviews online, our experiences have been consistently positive, making it a go-to spot for enjoyable dining.
