We have been ordering from Cafe Sanbuca for years. Always Amazing food. But the last few times, we ordered their focaccia All dressed steak sandwich, the biggest size & not joking, there was probably two & a half small pieces of meat per 1/4 focaccia.
Before placing the order this time, I spoke to the woman who took my order. She said she was going to make sure that the sandwiches were properly packed. Well, she certainly didn't keep her word, cause it was even more empty then ever. Don't know what happened to this place, but will not be ordering again. We paid just to receive pizza bread. So so Disappointed.

This place was absolutely AMAZING!! The workers were so sweet & helpful, the food & sauces were to die for. I would absolutely drive 7 hrs from NJ just for this food again. :)

I just tried their focaccia subs for the first time. It is so nice to be pleasantly surprised. A robust portion of food at a very reasonable price. The'sub' game has always been good in Montreal over numerous decades. Some greats of the past have unfortunately skimped out on the meat & cheese. They tend to overpack with coleslaw, onions & peppers. At Cafe Sambuca the ingredients are fresh, everything is tasty, & meat portions whether sausage, chicken, or steak are generous. Thank you. Repeat for sure when I drive through RDP. Going to try pizza one day.

The food is good & not too expensive & the portions are generous. The service depends on the day, the blonde woman is amazing but every other server is very condescending as hell.

This is litterally the best restaurant. The food tastes like a sunset on the beach while sharing laughs with your loved ones. The price has clearly not adapted to inflation. The portions are sufficiant for a family of 4 per plate. The waitress is like a highschool crush with her elegant smiles & giggles (not in a weird way. Shes just awesome.) If you want to have a good food experience, come here
