I just tried their focaccia subs for the first time. It is so nice to be pleasantly surprised. A robust portion of food at a very reasonable price. The'sub' game has always been good in Montreal over numerous decades. Some greats of the past have unfortunately skimped out on the meat & cheese. They tend to overpack with coleslaw, onions & peppers. At Cafe Sambuca the ingredients are fresh, everything is tasty, & meat portions whether sausage, chicken, or steak are generous. Thank you. Repeat for sure when I drive through RDP. Going to try pizza one day.

By far the best all around quality/priced food in the east end of Montreal. Focaccia subs are amazing, pizza amazing, pasta amazing, salads amazing, coffee amazing they don't miss. They're Peety Pop sauce that goes in the sub… is on another level, best sauce in the game! Order extra you will thank me later.

11/19/25; We were 6 friends. We had pizza, pasta, steak & chicken sub sandwiches (in-house bread) , home fries. ALL SO DELICIOUS ! Impeccable service. 😋

First off, their artisinal pizzas & submarines are actually out of this world. The qualityis consistent & amazing & their coffees are refreshingly strong-something I look for in a nice Italian coffee.

Staff is friendly, the place is tidy, & I look forward to my trips out here!
