I saw several reviews saying that the staff treat customers differently depending on who they are, & unfortunately, I experienced exactly that myself.

After the customer in front of me finished their order, the staff member for some reason skipped over both me & the person behind me & started serving a customer who had arrived last. I politely pointed this out to her, but she responded in an incredibly rude & unpleasant manner, telling me to wait because she had another transaction to take care of.

Perhaps she had her own reason or priority for serving customers in that order, but there is a proper way to communicate with customers. The way she responded to me, especially when I had spoken to her politely, was completely unacceptable & showed a serious lack of basic courtesy.

I was so shocked by her attitude that I was honestly speechless.

& to make matters worse, the bread itself wasn't even good. So unfortunately, there was really nothing about this experience that made me want to come back.

Terrible behaviour from owner. We walked in took the table. Owner saw her friends walk in, suddenly table was reserved. Wouldn't be saying this on a cold day in the middle January.

I saw a long line one day & checked it out online. It all looked so amazing, so I went there one day & the owner was so sweet, she explained the menu to me with what she used as ingredients. It all looked so good, I honestly wanted to buy them all! The matcha iced latte was delicious as well. Really fluffy & flavourful buns, & delicious treats 😍 they're so sweet & nice too!

I loved the atmosphere! The Forêt Noire was really good & made with fresh ingredients. The latte was okay, & what I loved the most was the calm & relaxing vibe of the place.

This place is small & cozy, with such a warm & welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, & friendly throughout our entire visit.

I came for lunch with a friend, & it was an amazing experience. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Our lunch included soup, fresh bread, a salad, & the main course. We had the beef, & it was perfectly cooked, so tender it practically melted in our mouths, with incredible flavor.

We also tried a couple of desserts, & I highly recommend saving room for them!

I will definitely be coming back!

Une cuisine excellente due à une petite équipe très dévouée. Les pâtisseries sont superbes, dues à la cheffe pâtissière, & la cuisine est très bonne grâce au cuisinier très appliqué. Les deux sont très attentifs à leur clientèle.

Onigiri is perfect, cakes are always incredible. I've been coming here since they opened & i've never been disappointed. The owners are always lovely as well. Could not recommend this place more!

Some of the most delicious Japanese cakes & snacks in Montreal. Not to be missed. Very small space so it's best to take away & eat in nearby park.

Went there while they were empty & was asked to take my business elsewhere because they don't want 4 adults & 3 kids there. When asked about why, the owner said they had bad experiences before. Not a way to treat customers. Rude service & not even apologetic.
