Review Summary

Pâtisserie T.M. is widely celebrated as a hidden gem in Montreal, offering an authentic and delicate selection of Japanese pastries, snacks, and savory meals. Customers consistently praise the high quality, freshness, and well-balanced flavors of items like matcha tarts, onigiri, and specialty cakes. While the shop is small and items can sell out quickly due to their popularity, the warm, dedicated service from the owners often enhances the overall experience. Although some note that the limited seating and operating hours require advanced planning, the consensus remains that this establishment is a must-visit destination for those seeking refined, carefully crafted Japanese delicacies.

Une cuisine excellente due à une petite équipe très dévouée. Les pâtisseries sont superbes, dues à la cheffe pâtissière, & la cuisine est très bonne grâce au cuisinier très appliqué. Les deux sont très attentifs à leur clientèle.

Onigiri is perfect, cakes are always incredible. I've been coming here since they opened & i've never been disappointed. The owners are always lovely as well. Could not recommend this place more!

Some of the most delicious Japanese cakes & snacks in Montreal. Not to be missed. Very small space so it's best to take away & eat in nearby park.

Went there while they were empty & was asked to take my business elsewhere because they don't want 4 adults & 3 kids there. When asked about why, the owner said they had bad experiences before. Not a way to treat customers. Rude service & not even apologetic.

The food there is very good & well intentioned. The plates & pastries run out because they want them to be fresh from the day, which is amazing.

I had the pastry with chocolate & tea I think the name was'thé impressionnistes'. The top was the very silky chocolate smooth ganache & inside there is a kind of raspberry jam that's homemade which is excellent because it balances the chocolate & the bottom part of the pastry is dry to balance out the top, so it's really amazing. In terms of preferences, it isn't the best for me cuz I don't like ganache. For those that do, it is a treat!

I loved the pears pie!! The pears were cooked in some syrup & had a bit of taste of cardamom & the base wasn't so sweet with a bit of acidity which balance out the sweetness & the crust was full of crispy buttery dough. I will be getting another one if I have the chance to pass by there again!

The curry pan had quinoa in it which is a nice adaptation. It gave texture & depth!!

The matcha tart was amazing 5/5 for me - very rich matcha flavor without being overly sweet. The matcha mousse Mont Blanc was sweeter 3/5 for me, probably because of the chestnut cream, but still delicious. Everything felt delicate & well balanced. After trying two desserts, I honestly wanted to order the entire display case. Easy 5/5 for me overall for taste

Was asked to leave because of our pair of 4.5 years old twins were too loud, reminded me that even before we got into the store, the lady was already not very friendly. Not young kid friendly.
