Antonio Alati founded Pasticceria Alati in 1952 in Montreal's Little Italy. His daughter Giuseppina Alati then opened her own pastry shop in 1988 in St-Leonard, following the family tradition.

This is a great place !! The coffee is the best & with a delicious dessert sfoliatelli!! The staff is wonderful & especially Nadia! I'm there once a week!! Must try!!

This bakery truly deserves 5 stars! The space is clean, cozy, & very welcoming. The pastries are always fresh, soft, & perfectly balanced-not overly sweet. I'm especially impressed by the variety, from bread & pastries to beautifully made cakes-everything is crafted with great care. The staff are friendly, attentive, & always happy to help. I'll definitely be coming back again & recommending this place to my friends!
I absolutely love Alati! I've been going there for years, & their quality has remained consistently exceptional every single time. Some of my personal favorites include the ricotta cannoli (a classic, of course), sfogliatelle, lobster tails filled with chantilly cream, ricotta pear cake, Italian cake, & their brioche, just to name a few. Everything is always fresh, beautifully made, & incredibly delicious.
The staff are also very kind & welcoming, especially Nadia, who always makes the experience even more enjoyable with her warmth & friendliness! :)
Amazing Pastiera & Canolli's at Alati, they've never tasted so good, the new owners are not skipping a beat, even better than before. Definitely will continue going there.
