Every time I come here, I tell myself it's the last time... Yet I keep coming back. 5 stars for atmosphere & location 2 stars on food quality If you are looking for an excellent burger, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a classic late night Montreal experience...rock on! The burgers are below average, the poutine is average, & the fries are excellent.

Tasty lil sandwiches that are fairly priced in this nook of a restaurant. Great service & late hours. Comes in clutch when out on St Laurent on weekends.
Wir haben heute bei Patati Patata das erste mal Poutine gegessen und wir müssen sagen, es war besser als gedacht. Der Käse und die Soße war einfach lecker. Das Restaurant sticht auf jeden Fall heraus und glänzt neben Poutine auch mit Burgern. Für 11$ sind die Poutine wirklich top. Sehr netter Service.
Je vais à cet établissement depuis que je suis enfant & la magie opère encore. Beau, bon, pas cher, le staff est ultra à son affaire & sympathique, leurs playlists sont 🔥 & il y a toujours une bonne ambiance, peu importe le moment où vous y allez!
Highly recommend doing takeout when it's a hot day. Lots of parks close by, even one right across the street to sit in the shade & enjoy a bite of delicious poutine. 10/10

I have heard about this place much but never had the chance to eat there. There was a line outside. Dont expect much of the place. Very small & packed. If you want your food to be prepared clean & healthy, you are at the wrong place. We were sitting at the counter & observing the whole process but it was very delicious. Higher than my expectations🙂

Why bother writing a review on such a ubiquitously renowned Montreal staple? Because the amount of love I have for this place, its people & most importantly its food is such that it should be shouted from the rooftops. But I haven't, so I felt like the next best thing is this lousy Google Review. To those who have never laid lips on the most compelling poutine in the whole wide world (in my opinion), stop what you're doing, put your shoes on, walk, run, drive, fly, swim or take a kayak straight to the pinacle of what is humanely possible to achieve as a result of assembling fries, cheese & gravy on a plate. To those working there: keep up the high spirit guys, your food makes people happy. I'm certainly happy just thinking about it. See you soon.
Une institution... certe... mais sincèrement il y a un effort sur le délai (25 minutes pour un burger frittes à emporter alors qu'il n'y avait pas tant de monde)... des personnes ont clairement été servies avant nous & un gros (-) pour les quantités. Dommage car c'est vraiment bon !
