Out of all the places I ate in Montreal, this was my FAVOURITE poutine. Squeaky curds, with perfect ratios of cheese to gravy to fries. The portion was generous, you get so much for what you pay. I was more than satisfied after eating here.
Service was super friendly & nice. I love the old school interior & being able to see the food made right in front of me. This location in particular is a MUST for poutine.View more

Excellent hole in the wall eatery. Great poutine, thin crispy fries & just loaded with squeaky cheese. Pairs perfectly with the blond ale on tap. Looks like lots of local's & regulars eat here. There's 2 tables for 2 & 8 stools at the counter.
Lots of take out business & there was a line when I arrived. Service is speedy but very warm & welcoming.

Nice little gem. Even though its a tiny place, the food menu is big, simple & definitely worth a return. Service people are friendly, you feel free to have an open chat with their cooks & get easily involved to discuss with people sitting around you. Must try their borscht, fries & hot-dog. My favorite spot in the city! The olive-based gravy, thin & slightly crunchy fries, & squeaky cheese curds make every bite a delight. I do wish they offered more portion sizes-sometimes I want just a bit more than the standard but not quite double! Nevertheless, the food, service, & portions live up to the hype!View more

I first tried this place in 2002 & was really surprised it was still open last week when I returned to Montreal. The lineup was out the door for a reason. Great tasting burgers & fries, just like I remembered them. I had the Mediterranean burger & the regular one with fries. Amazing. Prices were very reasonable as well, I was thinking they would have increased more from 22 years ago but still very reasonable. Great service as well. Hope this place keeps going for another 22 years!View more

Hands down one of my favourite poutines, I make sure to stop by here at least once anytime I'm in town. Excellent ratios, flavours, & portions, their poutine hits every mark for me. They use thinner, shoestring like fries which is not so traditional but a welcome addition as they help to get every bite coated in more gravy! They also offer a wide selection of small sandwiches & burgers, all of which are very reasonably priced & from what I've tried so far, delicious! Service is friendly & the small diner vibe is welcoming & cozy. Highly, highly recommend!View more

Every time I come here, I tell myself it's the last time... Yet I keep coming back. 5 stars for atmosphere & location 2 stars on food quality If you are looking for an excellent burger, this place is not for you. Why bother writing a review on such a ubiquitously renowned Montreal staple? Because the amount of love I have for this place, its people & most importantly its food is such that it should be shouted from the rooftops. But I haven't, so I felt like the next best thing is this lousy Google Review. To those who have never laid lips on the most compelling poutine in the whole wide world (in my opinion), stop what you're doing, put your shoes on, walk, run, drive, fly, swim or take a kayak straight to the pinacle of what is humanely possible to achieve as a result of assembling fries, cheese & gravy on a plate. I've been a loyal customer at Patati Patata for over 5 years, generally satisfied with their service & products. However, my recent experience on a Thursday night was disappointing. Despite a quiet evening, it took over 25 minutes to get my to-go order, with the staff seeming more interested in goofing around than maintaining efficiency. What troubled me most was witnessing the cashier handle money barehanded & then proceed to prepare salads & fries without washing. This lapse in hygiene is unacceptable. While Patati Patata is renowned for its legendary burgers, the decline in consistency & professionalism raises concerns about the overall experience.View more

Small place. Feels like you are eating in a 70's diner, but that's the charm!
Mini burgers are awesome, & to this day, they still have the best poutine, the fries are just perfect & that sauce... I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Great fresh salad if you want some, just so you can feel healthy :P
We always enjoy eating at the 'bar table' so that we can watch the friendly cook make the food in front of us.
Everytime we go, we always feel right at home, & the staff is really extra friendly without trying too hard. Oh, & they also always have the coolest music playlist going on.
