Review Summary

Patate Ben-Venue is a popular roadside spot in Mont-Tremblant known for its classic poutine, crispy fries, and reliable fast food options like burgers and club sandwiches. While many visitors appreciate the quick, efficient service and traditional atmosphere, opinions remain divided regarding the value for money, as some guests find the portion sizes small and the prices high. The establishment operates on a cash or Canadian debit basis, which can surprise some patrons. Experiences with staff friendliness are inconsistent, ranging from welcoming interactions to reports of unpleasant exchanges regarding gratuities, leading to a varied reception of this long-standing local favorite.

They ask you for a tip & complain & become rude when you don't leave one.
& the food was horrible & expensive for what they give you.

Absolutely the best poutine I've ever had, incredible flavors, the calculated gravy mixed with the local cheese curds & the homemade fries, absolutely insane.

If you're looking for an old-school roadside poutine stand, this is your place. I stumbled upon it while getting lost in Mt. Tremblant & I'm so glad I took a chance. Head's up: I was gruffly told by the woman running the register they only take Canadian debit cards or cash. Thankfully she took my USD, but be prepared. The original poutine was great- perfect fries, tasty gravy, good curds.
