I asked for extra sauce & I received the driest tortellini ever.....also, quite a few of the cheese pasta were not cooked. I made a quick sauce & had to cook the pasta to make it al dente. Not happy....the photo is after I added water. Usually this place is amazing....when I called back to advise them, it was clear the owners were not there.

Went there for lunch had the special. The pasta was overcooked, there were slices of disgusting sausage on top. My husband also said the same. I barely ate much. Should have bought pasta in a tin it may have been better. There were two people in the entire restaurant & it was lunchtime. It used to be better what happened???

Came to Pastamore with family. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

Food:
I ordered the Fettuccine Pesto (2/5). The noodles were cooked just right, but the flavor was very bland. I make this at home & it's usually much more savory. I was told to add parmesan, which helped a bit, but didn't bring out the pesto flavor enough. The bread served with it was generous in size. The salad was prepackaged but decent.

If I were rating just my dish, I'd give it a 2/5.

I did get to try two types of ravioli, & those were better (good filling, nice consistency), a solid 3/5.

Ambiance:
Very casual. It has more of a cafeteria-style feel, where you order at the counter & wait for your number to be called.

Service:
Service was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing especially memorable either.

Overall, it's fine for a quick, casual bite with the family, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Although, I may very well try a different fish next time because my brother loves this place.

Food is top quality (fresh pasta & homemade sauces) & choices are abundant! Service is very friendly, but they do not offer table service. It is cafeteria style (order at the counter & carry your food to your table). The dining room is clean & bright with ample tables. Highly recommended for a casual, affordable & delicious pasta meal!

I enjoyed a great meal here with friends & family, including some children. The menu has many options available.

Pasta was fresh, cooked al dente! Sauces are flavourful. Portions are generous.

Orders are placed & paid at the counter, they call you to pick up the meal. The price is affordable, & kids can order anything on the menu for 5$! Staff is very friendly. Service is fast, & the place is comfortable.

The best gluten free pasta*****& BYOW restaurant in the West Island. Everything that I tried on the menu is delicious. 10/10. Also the service is excellent & the ambiance is inviting & friendly. Highly recommend👍👍👍

At this place, I had to think on my feet. Once at the counter, I picked my pasta, selected my sauce, added my accompaniment, grabbed my soft drink, found my table, & decided on the spice level, then enjoyed

I had an amazing experience with this business! The owner personally went above & beyond by delivering the pasta to my home himself. This level of dedication & customer service is truly rare these days. The quality of the product was excellent, I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for exceptional service & a personal touch. Thank you for going the extra mile!

I watch the husband & wife start this business & we're always happy & smiling when they were serving people at their counter & 43 years later, the food is incredible & Tony one of the owners is 110% A-OK

I was not the biggest pasta fan before, but this place has turned me into a HUGE pasta fan. The pastas & the sauces are made fresh & it shows. Easily the best pasta you can get in the West Island! The service is outstanding as well - very friendly. 10/10 recommend. Did I mention it's bring-your-own-wine, too?!

Great spot for pasta lovers! Their pasta is delicious & served in big portions. Every pasta dish comes with a large piece of bread, so keep that in mind before ordering extra sides. You can also upgrade your meal to a trio, which includes a Caesar salad or soup & a drink. I made the mistake of ordering garlic bread on the side, not realizing they already give you a big piece of bread with your pasta-but honestly, the garlic bread was so good that I didn't regret it!
