Pas de Problème Café est largement apprécié pour son atmosphère chaleureuse, son décor élégant et son menu d'inspiration jamaïcaine de grande qualité, les pâtés jamaïcains, le poulet jerk et les boissons au café spécialisées étant souvent cités comme des incontournables. Bien que de nombreux visiteurs apprécient l'ambiance unique, la sélection musicale sur vinyle et la charmante terrasse arrière, les expériences concernant le service sont mitigées, allant d'un accueil chaleureux à une approche parfois froide ou lente. Malgré des prix jugés élevés par certains clients au vu de la taille des portions et l'absence de Wi-Fi, l'établissement demeure un joyau de quartier prisé pour ceux qui recherchent des plats savoureux et un espace créatif et décontracté en ville.
I've been to this dog & kid friendly cafe a few times now, & loved the coffee, food & vibes each time. Highly recommend the grilled cheese, with their homemade sauce. I even bought some sauce to bring home. Their fresh juice is very good too. One thing to note is that that kitchen opens at 10am, but they have yummy homemade pastries & coffee that suffice 🙂. & can't forget the cute patio in the back with a few tables & chairs. Great music too.
Was here today & to be honest, some places should just not have an open kitchen. If the hygiene in the kitchen is not great, make sure we see as little as possible. Everyone in the kitchen was putting their hands in shady places but one person really took it home for me. Scratching their forehead with eyes & all, like we talking good scratch 😖 to then proceeds to make orders. Bruh we all need to scratch sometimes, but just wash yo damn hands. To then come outside , takes a couple hits from their vape… Goes back in the kitchen, doesn't wash their hands & continues with the orders 😭😭😭😭 espacially if you're gonna touch the food with your bare hands, please wash your hands once in a while. The place is a bit too overpriced tbh, I think they still need to perfect some stuff before asking these kind of prices. $18 with tax for a grilled cheese is a bit steep.
Easily the best Jamaican patties I've ever had in my life & I've had a lot. Their fried chicken sandwich & jerk chicken are also out of this world. I'm not the biggest fan of the jerk chicken grilled cheese but I already knew that was gonna be a tough sell for me. I think most people will like it.

Food & coffee are actually great. I've had their jamericano (not sure if they still have it), gingerbread latte & grilled cheese sandwich, & all were fantastic. I also enjoyed the Aesop handsoap in the bathroom - nice touch. However, everytime I've been to this place service has been terrible. Staff is rude & unwelcoming, & service is extremely slow. Don't love the seating either. Most seats are very low &/or doesn't have back support. Not pregnancy friendly at all.
This place sucks spent 46$ on two patties,grilled jerk cheese & a jerk bowl. The grilled cheese was horrible ( their best seller apparently) the jerk bowl sucked it was served on white rice was really dry & the chicken was not good definitely wouldn't come here again lol. & it took me like half an hour to get my take out. The patties were okay. The beef one was way bigger then the chicken one.
Visited in January 2026. We were looking for a cozy coffee spot to eat & have a drink, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing & overpriced for what was offered.
Food: Very overpriced. We ordered the avocado toast for $15 & it was extremely underwhelming - just 2 slices of bread, two eggs on the side, & two slices of avocado placed separately (see picture for reference). Mind you, we were very surprised to be served that. It really didn't feel worth the price. We also tried the chicken grilled cheese, which mostly tasted like spicy sauce & lacked flavor overall. The only item we genuinely enjoyed was the coco caramel latte.
Service: The service was acceptable, nothing negative to say, though it was a bit slow.
Atmosphere: The decor is nice & cozy, but the space is quite small, with only about four tables & a few benches for seating.
Overall: I would recommend this place for coffee, but not for the food.

updated winter review : delicious & super fresh flakey patties, flavourful jerk chicken grilled cheese & nice plantain pancakes. all the drinks were great :) They kept up the quality & improved diversity of
options, creativity of meals, design of the place. Highly recommend

Their patty crust melted in my mouth (no Diddy) & their grilled cheese was a great blend of sweet, spicy & cheesy. Went there for lunch before getting a haircut, 10/10 would recommend for someone who wants spice but has a mid-low tolerance. I would go there after a good jog around the Lachine Canal for a post run snack
