At Parma Café, the spirit of Italy meets the vibrancy of a fast-casual restaurant. Enjoy an authentic espresso prepared to perfection, as if you were in Naples. The menu, featuring carefully prepared paninis and salads, will also take your taste buds on a culinary journey. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely coffee, Parma Café promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like home.
Parma Café is described as a cozy, welcoming spot in Jean Talon Market with plenty of room, a calm vibe, and friendly staff, making it suitable for studying or a casual meal. The coffee is consistently praised for being bold and well made, and the service is often noted as fast and courteous. The food earns high marks too, with many raving about the paninis, the mortadella and pesto, the eggplant parm, caprese salad, and other Italian offerings, plus desserts like Nutella cookies. The atmosphere is repeatedly called charming and cozy, with an open kitchen adding to the experience. While value is generally seen as good and portions generous, a few reviews mention slower service during busy times or occasional inconsistency in sandwich quality. Overall Parma Café comes across as a dependable go-to for strong coffee, tasty sandwiches, and a friendly, comfortable environment in the market area.
Great food, even better service. The manager Santino loves what he does & it shows in the exceptional service he provides. Eggplant Parmesan panini is the best!
I called the Parma Déjeuner & a Machiato & its so delicious. The bread is crunchy. The atmosphere is very cozy & nice. I came here for work & its a perfect environment for you to work. I love this place so much
La première fois, le café + pâtisserie étaient délicieux, la deuxième fois le café était mauvais mais mon sandwich délicieux!!!! Les prix sont assez chère mais tu manges bien
Two stars because my sandwich was good. BF & I went for paninis because they looked amazing.
The good: cute cafe, spacious.
The bad: we BOTH ordered sandwiches, & his came 15 minutes before mine. By the time mine came, his was cold (as he didn't want to be rude & start eating without me).
Four / five employees on with only 5-6 tables eating. Busier on their phones & blasting the horrible music than making their orders. We will not be back. Montreal has way too many good restaurants to waste time & money on bad service & annoying atmosphere.
Just had an amazing lunch at this charming Italian café! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich & flavorful, & the service was warm & welcoming. You can really taste the love in every dish. Definitely a hidden gem-can't wait to go back!hoping tomorrow
& by the way my picky 5 yr old daughter loved it too
De bons sandwichs italiens comme on les aimes! 👌 plusieurs choix de sandwichs & autres plats. & du très bon café! 😋
La terrasse est très agréable en été. ☀?L'intérieur du commerce est grand & il y a beaucoup de places assises.

It was my first visit at this cafe. Ordered a roast beef sandwich, which looked very delicious but then when I took a bite, there was very hard, gristly pieces of meat & cartilage. Unfortunately it wasn't just one bite & the whole sandwich had pieces like that. Wouldn't recommend it.
