I was very pleased with our visit to Paparmane, especially with how well-thought out the children's tea program was. My kids were delighted with the cotton candy tea, as well as the accompanying food. I found everything-from the food, to the tea, to the decor-to be a cut above the ordinary. The best tea service I've been to outside of England.
What a wonderful experience. We were meet by Caroline our tour guide & server. Well she made our experience memorable. On this day we were two. We opted for combination of scones & sandwiches I chose the Bingo Blueberry tea, my friend made another selection which I did not note ... Caroline explained everything on our plate for us to enjoy. Enjoy, discover, & delight was the order for that afternoon. The room is just great with a choice of seating arrangements, soft lighting & array of colors, to delight & distract... well done. I had forgotten the beauty & joy of sitting back, cherishing the moment, enjoying the conversation & delighting in the treats & savoring a delicious tea. Yes folks the art & tradition of high tea, is alive & well in Montreal. This experience was magical & I know I will return. I had forgotten what it's like to be served, correctly, to enjoy an atmosphere that was void of the clickitty clack of people typing like the world is going to end any moment, along with one person taking up a table of 4. Instead it felt like I was in comfortable oasis allowed to rest, think, & have a conversation with my friend without having to shout at one another as is the case in some of those franchise establishments. SOME TIMES YOU NEED TO TREAT YOURSELF RIGHT.... so next time you want a new experience or just want to enjoy high tea & you in the old port stop in & transform an ordinary afternoon into an extraordinary moment.

Loved it! The location is cozy & the decor truly contributes to the high tea experience. The service was impeccable & the bites were delicious. The tea selection was also great.
Came here with friend. Staff were friendly & the restaurant is cute. Food was decent & some were actually good. but one person is $50, after tax it's around 65-70 per person. To me with $70 I have many different options & probably doesn't need to pay this much to get good food. I never experienced high tea so it's a good experience to me, but it's not something I will come back again.
It's a great experience & the food is delicious. I thought It wasn't enough food but at the end is very fulfilling. I wish it was more balanced between salty & sweet. Too many sweets for me & I wish there was a pairing with the tea & the food. I put 4 stars because I made the reservation a month in advance but was still assigned one of the least desirable tables.
For the price, this experience was not worth it. Not only was the food sub par (scones were stale & very dry), but their service & atmosphere was terrible. It was too loud & the servers rushed us out. What was supposed to be a relaxing high tea experience, was a stressful & unpleasant one. The tea selection was delicious though.
Quite good high tea experience in Old Montreal. There was a mixup about allergies which they were very apologetic about, but still amounted to a >20-min wait for the proper food to arrive.
4.5/5 + beautiful space with lots of fun yet royal atmosphere + Extremely friendly, accommodating, & helpful staff. They were both funny, professional, & genuine. - We were a bilingual group & kept switching from French on English, but the waitress kept up :) + Scones were not dry, but buttery & flaky & the accompanying mascarpone + jam was delicious + All but one savoury dishes were pretty amazing, highlight being the grilled cheese + Savoury dishes were genuinely interesting combinations that will excite all kinds of palettes ⭐ Every single dessert was amazing. Honestly highlight of the experience. Not only this but they were creative, & rather pretty. + Flawless macarons & amazing cake - I found my tea (their Darjeeling selection) to be rather lack luster & a little watered down. Mind you I'm picky with tea & it's hard to get it right with western style. - one of the savoury dishes was sort of meh. It was the small tuna sandwiches which had an imbalance in amount of bread.
Today was my very first high tea experience & Paparmane did not disappoint. Each bite was beyond amazing. There wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy. The menu was 10/10! The teas & mocktails were very good as well. Service was also excellent. The place is cozy & wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough!
