i made reservations for a party of three, & from the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, whimsical, & inviting. with its vintage inspired decor, floral touches, & cozy dining room, it strikes a nice balance between elegant & comfortable. it's the kind of place where you naturally want to slow down, linger over a pot of tea, & enjoy good conversation.
the afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with a well balanced selection of sweet & savory bites arranged across the traditional three tier stand. everything looked almost too pretty to eat. some items stood out more than others, but that's fairly typical with afternoon tea. our favourites were the freshly baked scones, served with strawberry rosemary jam, & sweet clover mascarpone cream along with several of the delicate pastries that were both visually stunning & full of flavour.
the tea selection was equally impressive, with plenty of choices whether you prefer classic black teas, floral blends, or something lighter & fruitier. our server was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, allowing us to enjoy the afternoon at our own pace.
while afternoon tea is certainly a splurge, you're paying for more than just the food. the presentation, atmosphere, service, & overall experience come together to create something that feels special. whether you're celebrating a birthday, catching up with friends, enjoying a mother daughter outing, or simply treating yourself, paparmane is the kind of place that turns an ordinary afternoon into a memorable one.
i'd happily return to try one of their seasonal menus & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a charming afternoon tea experience in montreal.
Fantastic experience with my family of four (July 30th at 3:30PM). Very kid friendly. Service was impeccable: quick, attentive & personalized. Our waitress was such a highlight of our experience. The food was delectable as well, & the decor exceeded our expectations. We'll be going back for Halloween & we can't wait. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
I've been to Papermane twice now, & I've really enjoyed it both times. The food was delicious, & the décor is gorgeous. It has a very Bridgerton inspired vibe that's elegant, fun, & definitely Instagram worthy. The service was probably the highlight. Everyone was attentive, friendly, & professional, & they really made us feel welcome.
I'll definitely be back for another special occasion.

I had my surprise bridal shower at Paparmane Salon du Thé, & it was absolutely perfect! We had the entire venue to ourselves, which made the celebration feel so intimate & special.
The staff were incredible-so welcoming, attentive, & genuinely kind. They made sure everything ran smoothly & made everyone feel at home. The food was also excellent; everything was fresh, beautifully presented, & absolutely delicious.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. I highly recommend Paparmane Salon du Thé for bridal showers, private events, or anyone looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service & amazing food. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories!

The teas we drank were delicious & steeped to perfection . We splurged & took the Royal package which gave us the perfect portion of champagne. We were particularly charmed by the attentive service, the custom tea-steeping hourglasses, & the impeccable macarons. I enjoyed the variety among the savory bites. After responding to the customer satisfaction survey, the owner replied very considerately.
