The food was good, especially the bread-it was fresh & tasted great. Unfortunately, the owner seemed impatient & easily frustrated, which took away from the experience. I have always loved Italian restaurants for their warmth & hospitality, so I expected a more welcoming atmosphere here. Sadly, that wasn't the case.
This is a true gem. When I asked the man at the counter which sandwich was the most popular he said'all of them' & I don't have a hard time believing it. I got the mortadella & my bf had the porchetta & we were both very happy.
One thing though : the plan was to eat 1/2 & keep the other half for after a hike but I couldn't resist eating it all because was too good. & it made me a bit sick because of how much food it actually is. So if you are a smaller person, maybe pace yourself or share!
The bread, oh the bread!! It is soft & pillowy. The sandwiches are delicious - we got the meatball & the sausage one. Can't recommend enough. The staff & owner are also a delight. Would come here all the time if I lived in Montreal.
Excellent sandwich, pain fait sur place, garnitures généreuses & employés accueillants.
Favourite sandwich shop in Montreal. Have been coming for years.
Cappuccino is great!
Great experience. Great sandwiches. Will definitely have to go again & try the other options.
