They've been around since the 80s & the parc ex location is the OG. Group of 8 people & we shared & we were bursting at the end

We ordered Greek salade, fried calamari & fried zucchini, Greek chicken & rice
Everything was fresh, very tasty & plentiful ( rare to find these days in mtl)

The decor is very minimal,very inviting
We went on a day that was packed & it was noisy from people talking & not from music playing ( again a rarity these days). Family friendly, great for dinner parties

This is one two locations (the other in the West Island).
This place appears to be clean & organized.
When you walk in I was greeted by multiple black flies buzzing around & throughout the time not one staff member made any noticeable effort to rid the establishment of these unwanted guests.
Staff were friendly & helpful.
Cooking is open kitchen style & immediately on your left at the street windows when you walk in.
Atmosphere is typical old style Greek restaurant decor & not a place one would think to get all dressed up for - but you can.
Food seemed fresh.
Green house salad.
Simple house dressing, chopped lettuce & a few shreds of carrot. $10.00. Rip off. Nothing more to say as a salad it was nearly useless & non competitive with the marketplace.
Tzatziki
Runny, lacked flavour & overall was not worth consuming. Small portion $3.50 *without any bread or pita included.
Grille while chicken.
Completely lacked flavour.
Way overcooked.
White meat was dry.
Seasoning was so poor that even adding the typical spritz of lemon didn't make much of a difference. I could have been eating this chicken at any type of (cuisine) restaurant.
Roasted potatoes.
We were told that there was to be seasoning of a typical Greek style with fresh lemon S & P garlic, perhaps some herbs like oregano etc.
Potatoes were lacking flavour & even with salt added & dab of pepper it was just bland.
The potatoes lacked much texture as most Greek style roasted potatoes have some browning on the exterior creating a much more enjoyable texture & as well flavour. These potatoes were not treated with love, the were cut up & tossed on a pan with some ingredients & shuffled about & placed in the over & left to cook. I care & you can easily taste it & see the result as well as they looked greyish & with one potato with a large blemish. This is not Yaya's cooking at all.
Bottom line from a food perspective alone, not worth the time, the stomach space nor the high price for food I can easily cook superior chez moi. You go to a restaurant to eat joy food & hope it's at least as good as what you can make yourself. It's a let down when it's not even as good as you yourself can make it. This place has been around for a while & I don't understand how & why unless they have reduced their attention to quality & detail but this is not a repeat restaurant to visit. If they can't make the basics well, how can I believe that can cook the more complex dishes such as seafood & fish as well as lamb to perfection let alone my own standard.

Not again & no I will not refer this restaurant as it's a waste given the completion. I mean, go to Yia Sou Greek Grill on queen Mary road & see what these dishes are & you'll see what I mean it's like light & day.

My family & I have been going here for over 20 years. Over the years we have celebrated many special occasions at Panama. The food & the staff is amazing. Staff is friendly & food is always fresh. This used to be our favourite restaurant . We hadn't been here in over a year. We sat down & i immediately smelled something awful, looking around i noticed the carpet was very dirty, & the waiter was vacuuming the carpet with a small hand held vacuum. You need a proper vacuum cleaner & the carpet needs a professional company to come in at least twice year. The carpet has not been cleaned in a very long time. Noticed spider webs in certain corners of the restaurant. Maintenance is required. Will try it one more time & hopefully the next time we go they will have done something about it.
We ordered the octopus appetizer & it was cooked to perfection. We came as a group of five, one of us being a small child, & we ordered the octopus, greek salad, mixed meat platter & a salmon plate. More than enough food to feed the group. All the ingredients were so fresh, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service we received from the group was also excellent. It made the experience more enjoyable.

Amazing food quality, freshness, taste & portion size! The staff is super friendly too. I've been going to Panama for over 15 years & every time it's a feast! I am vegan now & found several vegan friendly options in the menu.
I have been to Panama a few times in the past & it is still a great Greek restaurant--I always go for the grilled octopus & it did not disappoint!!! The Horta (sauteed greens) with lots of fresh lemon juice, lamb chops, calamari is best shared with all " Family Style" so all can appreciate how well it is prepared & delicious. The salmon plate was charr grilled & so juicy--so were the lamb chops The Best to end with is Loukoumades (mini yeast fried doughnut balls) drizzled with honey, & sprinkled with cinnamon!! Best eaten Hot--1000% better than Puffs. Our waiter catered to us & explained the for 2 or 4 sizes, brought Baklava with a sparkler on top & sang with our table Happy Birthday to me A night to remember for life!!!
