Avis pour Otto Yakitori Izakaya
Les avis mentionnent souvent
skewer(30) chicken(22) japanese(17) brochettes(13) drink(12) izakaya(11) truffle(8) dishes(8) squid(7)The ambiance & the food are juste magnificent, one of the best japanese flavour in town. We went there after 11 pm & ordered a bunch. The waiting time was around 10mins. But one thing to note is that they don't serve main meals (don rice or ramen) after 11 pm. Also, if you want to order yakitori, don't order a bunch of them in one shot, it's better to order a small plate & then finish it before order another one , otherwise the yakitoris will get cold very quickly & the flavor will be seriously compromised.Voir plus
Best place to spend the night with your friends, coworkers, family & love ones if you're looking for a chill/cozy/fun vibe drinking session nights with good food to have on the side!Voir plus
Tiny portion. Except a bill of 40$ with tax & tips.Voir plus
My bf & I came back to get the katsu curry. It’s always been so good (:Voir plus
Okay. This might be the best yakitori I've had in North America thus far. LOL.
Each yakitori was simple & perfectly cooked. They not only managed to recreate the seasonings & simple marinades but also the exact smokey, charcoal taste.
The squid was also the best squid I've ever had, & I dont even like squid that much ; it wasn't overly chewy & perfectly tender.
Okay but Im also SO glad I got the Truffle Karage. It was the perfect fusion of French & Japanese cuisine. The karage was perfectly fried & its marinade was subtle enough to complement the non-overwhelming amount of truffle oil.
As my bf says : "Yakitori & mac miller? What else can u ask for?" (The music was fuego)Voir plus
Chicken was not cooked through. Felt sick the night & day after. Uni steam egg was laughable. Have you tasted it yourself? Have you tasted it anywhere in Japan, even those cheap breakfast joins? I guess not. Squid was heavily covered with starch & overcooked. Run by Chinese, not Japanese. Nothing wrong with Chinese chef cooking Japanese food ONLY IF YOU ACTUALLY LEARNED COOKING FROM A LEGIT JAPANESE! Otherwise, it's just not authentic.

Excellent. Some portion sizes are small but prices are not-bad & everything is tasty.

The bibimbap is more like fried rice. Overcooked & way too oily.

A wonderful place to enjoy an evening!
We had a perfect night. One of the people serving was an owner. She was smiling & helpful & we had no idea she owned the place. All the staff were amazing!!
Congrats on a great dining experience!

Une chance que j'habite pas à côté, car j'y serais probablement constamment.
Les yakitoris parfaitement cuits sur charbon avec une bonne Asahi servie avec un verre froid.
Que demander de plus, je me sens de retour au Japon.Voir plus

I was really happy to see that there is an izakaya here in Montreal, which I totally didn’t expect, especially with food being this good! We enjoyed everything we ordered but definitely get the Chicken Karaage, which I call Japanese style fried chicken as a Taiwanese. They open pretty late too, so it’s a perfect place for late night hangouts!Voir plus
