This place is always delicious. We've dined in a few times & the staff is friendly & welcoming, but we usually order in. We've tried every flavor of mussels on the menu & they never disappoint. The portions are generous, which is always a nice bonus. My husband usually goes for the pizza, & the salad & calamari are great too. We literally went after 20min that opened & was amazing. I love the decoration, atmosphere & service, our waiter was very nice. & now, let's talk about food: 1. The calamari was delicious, it was cooked so perfect that I could say that melts in your mouth in a delightful way. Also, I never like the sauce & this one was delicious! 2. I ordered the pizza with all the mushrooms (like the picture) & was very tasty. Hubby asked for the pasta with seafood & he was very happy. 3. The crème brûlée 🍮 9/10 THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL SO IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOT FORGET YOUR WINE/DRINK.View more

Advantages: -Space specifically for gluten free -Red plates for whoever orders from the gluten free menu & is dining-in -Employees were nice -Just loved the toppings on my pizza Disadvantages: -Restaurant always empty, no customers dining-in -So expensive! I ordered two pizzas, & my bill was approximately $60 -The dough of my two pizzas were overcooked & really dense -For approximately $30, a small-sized pizza with just 4 slices is so ridiculous -Had no idea how much did the pizza cost when I was looking at the menu, so where are the prices? Good opportunity to try, but I'm never going back there again. With a restaurant this empty, I'm waiting till I hear the news that the restaurant is bankrupt or out of business or something. Whoever opened this restaurant does not understand the concept of how to open & operate a restaurant or business properly.View more

We were warmly received & sat at our table. Waiter was excellent & when he was told one of our guests was gluten intolerant, he immediately swapped out the cutlery & made sure she got a gluten free bread roll. Crab cakes were ok, a little mushy & fishy for my taste. The arancini were good but on the small side. Pizzas & pastas were very good. I understand that with BYOB restaurants, that their prices are usually higher but found the pricing too high. $31 for a small gluten free pizza & my Americans was $27 but had to add $3 because I went with the PAN version. A bit too pricey for this category of eats.View more

Very much overpriced food for the quality. Apetizers were 4 tasteless fried veggie rice balls for 22$. The pizza (24.50) had a nice crust but was far too salty. The arabiata pasta dish (20$) was pasta with canned sauce. Total of 70$ for that. Fortunately, the waiter was friendly.View more

My wife & I ordered 2 pizzas & we couldn't even hold the slices because the bread was extra thin & wet.
Furthermore, we were done eating & we have to wait like 20 mins to ask someone to give us the bill.

La pizza avec gluten était délicieuse.
Par contre la pizza sans gluten n'était pas bonne du tout. Il est pourtant si facile de faire une croûte sans gluten goûteuse & moelleuse avec de bonnes garnitures.
Manger sans gluten peut être savoureux, je vous suggère de trouver une nouvelle recette de croute de pizza. Je vous propose aussi d'améliorer la carte des desserts sans gluten. Il serait si facile de mettre un Gâteau sans gluten sur la carte des desserts. C'est ce que nous aurions pris pour la fête de notre amie. Dommage. Nous sommes allés dans votre restaurant puisque une personne doit absolument manger sans gluten. Elle était déçue de sa pizza, par contre la mousse au chocolat état bonne ainsi que les moules frites aussi. En tant que restaurant qui s'affiche sans gluten très sécuritaire, Vous devriez améliorer la carte & les recettes.
Nous ne retournerons pas au restaurant ottavio à moins d'améliorations des pizzas sans gluten.
Finalement, Lorsque l'on fait un réservation en français le sondage qui suit par courriel devrait être en français. J'ai reçu le sondage en anglais.

We didn't get the usual basket of bread while we waited for our meal. Pizza took a while to make it to the table. However food was excellent & it never disappoints.
We also understand that there is a lack of staff - & the staff they have is always smiling. I always recommend Ottavio & will always be back for their great food & service.
