This was the second time I went to O'Thym which offers the best quality food that I have tried in Montreal. Everything (food & dessert) was delicious. The ambience is very relaxed & the servers are very friendly.
Loved the atmosphere & the restaurant itself. Seemed like it would be a great date night out but the prices did not match the quality. Flavors & presentation were good but seasoning was lacking even on something simple like fries & the meat was not tender at all. I wouldn't mind the prices if the food was better prepared & the service was better.
Our first visit. A nicely innovative menu - veggie forward although there is plenty for meat eaters. The service was very sweet & accommodating. BYOB & they have nice glasswear & ice buckets at the ready.
Joli & sympathique restaurant. Nous y sommes retournés après 10 ans...Les assiettes sont belles, le service très gentil. La nourriture est bonne sans être remarquable. J'aurais aimé des pétoncles avec un accompagnement chaud & non froid, & les beignes au dessert légèrement plus sucrés.
Une table quand même recommandée pour une sortie sans chichi.
Without a doubt, the best meal we had in Montréal. Everything was prepared to perfection. Both my husband & I raved about every course. Go. You won't be disappointed.
My heirloom tomato salad had a wonderfully tangy dressing that perfectly complemented the sweetness of the tomatoes. The main course of fried duck was very tender with little fat. It was a wonderful meal from start to finish.
