Cet endroit a été une très belle surprise! Nous l'avons découvert par hasard, & nous n'avons pas été déçus. Le service est super, la nourriture délicieuse, mais ce qui nous a charmé c'est l'attention aux détails. Leur pizza aux légumes est incroyable !
The prices were unreasonably & overly increased in 2025. Surprisingly, they charge more for takeout than a dine-in & certain prices on invoice did not match the menu price. Some portions have also decreased in size or quality. Regular customers are the first to notice these greedy & unfair practices. The place just has an overall dishonest vibe now. Maybe administration changed.
One other issue is the lady manager/owner who is constantly fixating guests. It feels like you are being watched & monitored by a security guard. Could be more subtle. The gentleman however (Marco I believe) is incredibly kind & professional.
Please adjust your prices & service & realize there is a lot of competition in the area.

A neighbourhood corner where the knowledgeable seem to be regulars, Osteria Gallo present its food with warm greetings, pride, decadence & layers of tasteful nuances in often deceptive simplicity thx to the high talents of its chef & the superbly high quality of handmade & hand picked ingredients.
From pasta full of flavors to layered delicious cheese on pizza, my friend & I had a memorable night there & have been craving to go back ever since.
Quel dommage. Nous avions tellement espoir que ce restaurant nous donne envie de la Calabre. Nous souhaitions trouver autre chose que le Moccione dans le coin. Nous avons pris les polpettes, la pizza du jour & une salade de roquette. Tout baignait dans une réduction d'un balsamique peu vieilli. La Mozzarella était tellement froide qu'elle n'avait que très peu de saveur. Ceci étant, le service était attentionné.
We keep going back, love the food & ambiance, very chill place, just the right size, never gets too loud, & Franco is a great chef, very tasty food with classic italian ingredients.Very good thin Neapolitan style pizza, daily menu is rustic & old school, tastes like mammas cooking. Friendly staff & owners.
Service chaleureux, cuisine correcte mais cher pour ce que c'est. Très bons cannoli & croquettes de pesto, moins convaincu par la saucisse italienne de la pizza

Nous sommes allés pour la 1re fois à ce restaurant samedi le 19 octobre 2024. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis. La nourriture était délicieuse (pizza, escalope de veau) de l'entrée au dessert. Nous vous le recommandons fortement & nous allons y retourner assurément. Félicitations & merci au chef & à sa dame ainsi qu'au serveur pour cette belle soirée. A bientôt!
Très déçue... service très bien, mais les pizzas n'étaient pas bonnes, plusieurs ingrédients manquants dont la mortadella ce qui me paraît étrange pour un restaurant italien... Ils ont remplacé les ingredients ce qui a donné des saveurs qui laissaient à désirer. De plus, la carte dessert comptait 3 options dont le tiramisu qui était lui aussi pas disponible. Je conseillerais d'éviter & d'aller ailleurs, pleins de bons choix aux alentours!
The food was amazing, we ordered two pizzas & a salad to share. The staff was very kind & even when we arrived late (almost closing time) they served us with a great smile. Great place to have dinner with some friends.
Mes amis & moi avons passé un excellent moment culinaire chez Osteria Gallo. Je recommande à tous ce petit resto de quartier. Accueil & service chaleureux. Menu varié. J'y ai dégusté la pizza margherita, faite sur place & qui se compare à celle qu'on peut savourer à Naples, à la fameuse pizzeria Starita, une institution gastronomique napolitaine.
We found this gem of a restaurant while visiting Montreal with a sports club. We had a group of 6 adults & 8 kids that they were able to accommodate last minute. The food was INCREDIBLE, it was the best pizza I've had. Prices were very reasonable & service was great. The staff were all wonderful, great with the kids & very accommodating of a larger group, splitting bills, etc. Top notch find, we'll definitely be back.
