Osco! is a real delight. The French Onion Soup & the soup of the day are the perfect starters. The wine selection is superb, enjoyed Canadian wines during our two visits. The service at Osco! is top notch & staying in the hotel on a cold winter night made Osco! a perfect & comfortable place for dinner!

Stopped in to Osco while visiting in Montreal for the weekend, fantastic service very professional & attentive. Great wine selection & recommendations, delicious 2 or 3 course meal (the risotto is phenomenal!). Highly recommend

Ordered room service while staying at the Intercontinental. Lovely young man Jonathan brought up my food quickly. He was very courteous & even chilled my wine! Burger I ordered was delicious would highly recommend this place.

It's always a delight to eat in an elegant restaurant - tasteful & comfortable furnishings, good lighting, soft music & a welcoming vibe. Osco has all that plus friendly good humoured staff. Plus it has great food - my wife & I agreed that this was one of the better meals we have had in some time. I couldn't resist the promo special of a dozen oysters for $16 (Tuesday & Thursday only). They were small but fresh & succulent with a slightly piquant vinaigrette on the side - a good start! My wife had the roasted chicken with grilled mixed vegetables - it was moist & flavourful. I had the charred salmon fillet, perfectly cooked, moist fall-apart texture with crispy skin. It came with asparagus & pasta noodles in a very light sauce - delicious. We shared a lemon tart. Smooth tangy lemon curd on a light biscuit base ringed by a line of soft meringue - also excellent. My only negative was a glass of the special sparkling wine, that was flat. The staff were attentive & helpful. Excellent restaurant & very reasonable prices for the high quality food & service.

First of all the ambience here is amazing. The food was perfectly prepared. The wine was exquisite. Ivan & René treated us like royalty. There service is one of the main reasons we will be coming back to Montreal.

Best meal in a restaurant EVER!
Maybe a little bit rushed though, I could not drink wine that fast & I would have preferred a little rest time in between courses.

Excellent food, especially excellent vegetarian options. Service was excellent, professional but also friendly. Great knowledge of the wine pairing. We asked a question about the foie gras to the sommelier & he came back shortly after with an answer. Overall very good experience.

Food was pretty good but some dishes were overly simple. The "sweet potato salad was a standard green salad with a few bits of potatoes tosses in. Portions were smallish. But what killed it is the service. Our server was very kind but clearly inexperienced. Absolutely clueless about the wines on offer... & then didn't send us a knowledgeable colleague. Had to resort to spending 10minutrs googling the wines. Which were mostly poorly reviewed. On the other hand the decor is very impressive.
