It happened to be the Day of Trump's inauguration. The waitress had us right underneath the TV screen. We all ordered breakfast dishes. I had the Mexican omelet my friend had the waffles, & my other friend had avacado toast. My omelet was delicious. It included a soup. Both my friends enjoyed their food as well. The dishes included unlimited coffee. This was my fourth time at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly & the service was good. It has a nice ambience. It's a well known establishment on the west side. The portions are generous as well. I would recommend this place.View more
This was my second visit to Orange Cafe. The first time was on a weekend & the place was buzzing & the breakfast was solid. This morning was far from the first experience. Our breakfast arrived barely warm with the exception of the potatoes. The butter was still on the cold toast. Unfortunately, the waitress barely passed by considering it was not very busy for a Monday at 10am. So we did not get a chance to inform her of the situation. She came to fill up our coffee by the time we were more than halfway done eating. What a disappointment!View more
EXCELLENT breakfast. l pass this restaurant every day & never really give it a sec9nd thought. That was a mistake. This is absolutely a hidden gem & their breakfast is fantastic with rare homemade hasbrown potatoes. We had french toast, bacon, Sausage, hashbrowns, bananas & cheddar scrambled eggs. ALL of it, a solid 5 stars. 2 Thumbs WAY up 👍👍HIGHLY RECOMMENDView more
It is a nice place with kind & hospitable staff. Access was easy with no stairs, although the entrance is a bit small & might not be wheelchair- friendly. We had a combo, which was enough for 2 & half people. It had coffe, juice, toast, french toast, poutine, ham, eggs & fruits included. Overall a very pleasant experience.View more
I tried orange café three times for brunches. It is usually crowded & the service is fair. The first two times were so good. I am on gluten free diet. They have gluten free toasts (almost extra 3$ charge) & I asked for sweet potatoes instead of the potatoes (also extra charge). The sweet potatoes were good & the whole dish was delicious. The 3rd time I went there, I ordered the same thing I had before with the gluten free toasts. I started eating & I had one whole toast, & all of a sudden the waitress came to tell me that I got the one with normal/gluten toasts & she apologized for this mistake. They brought me another plate but this time the pouched eggs were not well cooked. I got so bloated & with the uncooked pouched eggs , I felt like vomiting. The last experience was not pleasant for me at all. Thank God I am not celiac or allergic otherwise this mistake could harm me in a very bad way. They did not charge me (which is the least they can do). I was bloated & I felt heaviness the whole day coz of this mistake. I put 3 star to pay more attention to such things as this may cause real harm for people with strict dietary restrictions. Despite my last bad experience, they have good options & it is a good place to have a breakfast or a brunch.View more
Amazing breakfast. French toast is out of this world. The extras are huge! Never seen such a generous bacon portion in a restaurant.View more
