Ooooh, I treasure our (party of 3) dining experience here.
This review is for March 2026 (day of Bedrace)
We were celebrating a birthday & we just decided to pop into Olé Tapas
1) Immediately we passed the bar area, it felt like we entered another world - the colors, the decor, the art, the location - exquisite!
2) Miguel, our server, was amazing. (all the servers were friendly). It was our first time at a Tapas-style restaurant, he was patient & very knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations & explanations.
He also told us about the Bed Race happening in St Anne that day (which we enjoyed later that day)
3) We had the Seafood Paella & it was delicious!!! Shared among the 3 of us & there was plenty to go around. Every bite held flavor.
4) Oh Chef, it was an honor meeting him. It was never on my bucket list to be served by a Chef but wow, I added this to my bucket list & checked it right off.
Chef treated my party & I like royalty. He came around, asked for feedback on our paella, chatted with us.
& for dessert, Chef came to our rescue. He asked if we trusted him to blow our palettes off & we were glad we did.
Chef made his special Churritos in-house for us (at zero cost). We could see him whipping up the magic.
The Churritos was delicious. We could have licked off the tray, if possible.
4) We left Olé with so much joy in our hearts. We are full (tummy), satisfied, & more than that, we felt rich to have experienced the care, the love, & professionalism shown by this establishment.
5) Chef had no idea we were celebrating a birthday that day & this dining experience was the perfect way to celebrate.
Thank you Chef, Thank you Miguel, Thank you Olé. It's an experience we will never forget🙏🏿 🙏🏿, we look forward to Olé again.

This place is the best restaurant in Ste Anne de Bellevue hands down.
The tapas menu is playful & delicious, high-quality ingredients & everything authentic & Spanish sourced.
Plenty of options to eat & the staff is exceptionally pleasant & helpful. Order a little at a time or everything at once. They will be helpful & patient with you & everything done with a smile.
The wine list is all Importation Prive Spanish wines not available at the SAQ. So very nice to switch it up. Also reasonably priced wines with a good QualityPrice balance.
Decor is colorful & bright with lots of yellows & reds & blues, as you would expect in a Trattoria in Spain.
I also noticed that many of the tables around me are conversing in Spanish. A famous restaurant critic once told me that if I wanted to be sure I was eating authentic regional cuisine, to look around myself & make sure I was a minority surrounded by people from that region, that lets you know that you're getting an authentic culinary experience.
Even the sangria actually tastes like good quality red wine is used in making it, filled with apple orange & lemon wedges & delicious on a hot day.
I'm actually sitting on the terrace right now as I write this watching the boats go by on the boardwalk.
I'm updating this review after returning recently to eat here again, & noticing that Owner & Chef Nicolas has updated the menu. Everything was great. & I mean EVERYTHING. I don't usually order salads when I dine out, as I prefer to make them at home & try very hard to order things & it wouldn't normally cook at home on a daily basis when I'm dying out. But even the salads here were so good. I had trouble not going back for more over & over again. Meat platter of warm, tap as good feet two or three people easily, & that's just one dish. Everything here constantly gets better . Most restaurants tend to decline overtime, this one just keeps up against scheme it seems.
Every time I come to this town in my boat & I eat somewhere else, I wonder why I bothered, & realize I should've just come back here.
I just brought two very discerning, foodie friends that visit Montreal for several months every year from overseas, & they immediately labeled this place'one of my favorite restaurants'.
& on-site Chef 😎🍖🍕🍔🥩🍤🍣🍻🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿 owner makes all the difference, everything's so fresh, every plate being checked all the way out of the kitchen. It really shows up in the quality of the final meal that comes to your table.
Very caring & friendly staff, that clearly display a strong desire to see you happy, & visibly trying very hard to make sure that happens.
Very rarely do I feel the desire to linger in a restaurant after I finished my food. I usually just ask for the bill & I leave. Here I always have desire to hang out a little longer & have one last glass of wine, just to stretch out experience. I almost feel like I'm sitting in a restaurant in Spain, unrushed & welcomed.
Definite five stars for the combination of ambience, service, food quality & location. You can't go wrong at'Ole'!
We absolutely adored our experience at Ole & are already looking forward to returning! The food was delicious, the service was so friendly & the chef / owner is such a kind soul!
Its great. Tasty food & great spot.
Just watch out from the young server. He was great all the way till the bill came. He asked if I want change & I said yes but never came back. .I had to go look for him & ask for the change. He apologized & said he misunderstood, which could have been the case, but, I was there a few months earlier with a group of friends & he did the same thing exactly. Apart from that its highly recommended

I rarely give 5 stars. However, our experience at Olé Tapas was exceptional & deserves the recognition. Most restaurants fall short on customer service. They opt for menus on tablets & robots to deliver the food. While this may be novel, nothing replaces the warmth of human interaction.
From the moment we walked in, our hostess greeted us & wished us, happy anniversary. Alexandra served us throughout the night with care, making sure we had everything we needed. Chef Niko was in the dining room, chatting with guests & was warm & helpful. This attention to detail is what makes a restaurant a true success. Olé Tapas provides a genuine experience that is above standard in Montreal. This is the difference between a 4 star review & a 5 star experience. Restauranteurs should take notes.
If you dine at Olé, expect a culinary tour of Spain. Tapas is best served in a group of friends with Spanish wines. Relax & enjoy the experience. Niko who was awarded as,'The Best Youngest Pastry Chef' often tests new desserts & you might be lucky to try one!
I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is busy.
I would love to see a tasting menu with an option of a sommelier wine tasting experience. Or perhaps a theme night that compliments the culinary journey.
This restaurant is for those who desire to experience something special. As a gold member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada, the effort & time taken into creating an exceptional menu is worth the price.
The'Tabla de carnes' is a show stopper & is very popular. People often stop the serving staff & ask for the name of the dish as it passes by.
Lastly, don't forget to leave room for dessert, they are delicious!
Ole has quickly become our go-to summer terrasse! Friendly staff, vibrant atmosphere, & endless delicious tapas dishes to try. Great for young children too. Highly recommend the seafood paella (Marisco) & the cava sangria.
Oh. My. Gosh. The most amazing dinner we've enjoyed in a long time! The food was absolutely exquisite, & the service was kind, warm, & welcoming, not to.memtion fast, considering our waiter was very much'in the juice' on a busy evening.
The dessert was out of this world. Highly recommend!!! Go with friends, what a lovely restaurant. We'll be back soon.

Mother's Day was special. The chef came to our table to explain the desserts, & they gave my mother a rose at the end of the evening. Great management, great energy, & a warm atmosphere - that's a real restaurant experience.
We were fortunate to meet the owner / chef outside this quaint little restaurant...while trying to decide if we wanted to have our dinner there. I say'fortunate' for 2 reasons. First off,we didn't have reservations...& it was Saturday night around 6 ish. Secondly he lead us inside & showed us a huge meat platter ( on a bed of cubed & seasoned potatoes) to help us decide to eat his establishment. What you need to try & comprehend is ...the small restaurant was almost full of people eating. Technically he wasn't ( pardon the pun) starving for business. I was fully over whelmed by his dedication to restaurant.
