Maggie & I went to Olé Tapas in Saint-Anne-de-Bellevue last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, & what an amazing evening it was!
Earlier in the afternoon, Maggie called to make a reservation & spoke with Nikola, who was incredibly friendly & welcoming. He told her they would take good care of us & even mentioned they would do something special for our anniversary. He certainly kept his word!
When we arrived, Nikola greeted us warmly. Once we were seated, he came over to see us, & we asked him to help us choose what to order. He actually came back with our wonderful waitress, Sarna, & personally ordered a selection of dishes for us. Every single choice was excellent - we truly enjoyed every dish that came to the table.
& to finish the evening, they surprised us with a beautiful dessert for two, which was simply delicious. ❤?
The service throughout the entire evening was outstanding. Sarna was fantastic - professional, attentive, friendly, & made us feel very well taken care of.
We were also lucky enough to be seated outside on the terrace, where a great band was playing, which added the perfect atmosphere to our anniversary evening.
From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, & especially the personal attention from Nikola & Sarna, everything came together to make it a very special night.
An experience to remember - & definitely one we'll be repeating!
Thank you, Nikola, Sarna, & the whole team at Olé Tapas for making our anniversary so memorable! ❤?🥂
Meredith at the table & Nico in the kitchen were tremendous. Great service & even better food. Flamenco show was also quite special & made it a nice experience.
Soooo good! This was my second visit & my wife's 3rd! The restaurant serves a'Spanish Tapas' menu. The food never disappoints as well as a staff that cares about their clients, you never feel forgotten! This time we had the focaccia bread to start that is covered with baked garlic & tomates, so fresh!! & we shared the seafood paella, it was filled with squid, shrimps, mussels & small octopus, it was so good & filling, we ended up bring some home! We shared a dessert that was on the house, homemade brioches topped with fresh fruits & a homemade cream, warm, fresh, amazing! We each had a drink & as always we left feeling that the quality & pricing were excellent 👌! We have previously been with friends & the same experience, you have to try their octopus though, 12 hours sous vide & it melts in your mouth!! There is both inside & covered outside dining along the water in St Anne de Bellevue. Each time we have had the pleasure to chat with the owner, who truly cares about the quality of food as well as the customer experience. You really need to make a reservation to ensure that you get a seat! We highly recommend this restaurant & can't wait to head back! Cheers
Food was superb & our waiter was charming & funny, but our table was directly under a speaker outside & made conversation quite difficult. Didn't totally ruin the night but was a bit of a nuisance.
One of the best dining experiences I've had. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm & professional. The service was excellent, with a very attentive team who were honest & accurate about the preparation times.
The octopus was outstanding - perfectly cooked, tender, & full of flavor. The paella was simply amazing, rich in taste & beautifully prepared; it truly felt like a traditional homemade dish made with care & love, just like my grandmother used to make.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view & a wonderful atmosphere. Everything was clean & well maintained, including the bathrooms. The cocktails were delicious, refreshing, & a perfect choice for a summer day.
The prices are a bit high, but when you consider the quality of the food, the excellent service, & the overall experience, it is absolutely worth it.
I will definitely return & highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food & a memorable experience.
Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing compared to my first experience.
The first time I came here, everything was spectacular, which is why I decided to come back. Sadly, this second visit was a completely different experience.
The pink sangria was overpriced & tasted like nothing. The hostess was also quite rude. We politely asked if we could be seated away from the entrance, but she refused & kept us at a table right by the door, which made the experience uncomfortable.
My friend ordered the octopus, & it was terrible. It was so bad that he couldn't finish it. The only dishes we really enjoyed were the patatas bravas & the paella, which were both good.
It's unfortunate because this restaurant made a great first impression, but after this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning.
