Forget Robbies, this place is so much better. The beans are delicious, cooked perfectly. The mac & cheese is great, very cheesey & a generous portion is given. The pork belly burnt ends are delicious, fatty, & tender. The pasta salad is very good, it's creamy & not too acidic like a lot of other places.
I highly recommend trying this place.

I've been trying all the BBQ spots I can find around Montreal, Laval, & the South Shore, & this weekend we decided to check out Old Haunt's BBQ.
It's primarily a takeout spot, though it looks like there's outdoor seating in the summer based on the picnic tables.
We wanted a good variety, so we ordered the Brisket Plate & the Ribs Plate, along with beans, mac & cheese, macaroni salad, & chili as sides. We also added a side order of pork belly burnt ends.
Out of all the BBQ places I've tried so far, this was the only one where I genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered. I was also impressed with the portion sizes, it definitely felt like good value for the money.
That said, the only downside was the lack of noticeable smoke flavour in the food, That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Still, I'd absolutely go back in the summer & give it another try.
Tout était extrêmement bon. La star était le Brisket. Wow! Je n'ai jamais rien mangé de tel. La sauce BBQ est tellement bonne! Le brisket trempé dans la sauce, c'est un orgasme buccal. Les sides sont tous excellents, mais les bines sont de loin le meilleur side. Agréablement surpris par cette petite pépitte de resto cachée à Kahnawake. Je reviendrai bientôt & je recommande fortement à tous les fans de bouffe Texane ou de Barbecue tout simplement.
I has been quite a while we wanted to try. Pur will was so high & the food looked so delicious that we didn't even have time to take pictures.
It was worth th wait, the meat is really juicy & the mac n cheese spectacular!!!
So... we asked how to proceed to make sure we had some brisket by messenger, they told us to call at 16h. We did, we placed our order. Get there, we enter the place, there is some nice metal music in the kitchhen, we feel like in some friends place. It took almost like huh... 5min to get my food , i think it was just to assemble , put in boxes & stuff... It was hot, it was tasty , it was perfect. One special sunday order + 2 side + one extra side , filled me & my wife. Really... im glad to found that place, will got back for sure when im lazy to cook.
Oh & just saying.... 207 & robbie's are lame compare to them. Trust me that smoke ring was perfect.
Excellent brisket, très tendre. La nourriture est bonne, le service était bon également.
Ce sont des repas à emporter. Il n'y a que des tables à l'extérieur, & il pleuvait la journée qu'on est arrivés, donc à prévoir. Sinon tout le reste est impeccable !
The owner was kind enough to offer me a ride back to the bus stop after finding out I walked to their restaurant. That was super thoughtful & really set the tone for the whole experience. That same warmth comes through in the food. I had the burnt ends plate & half a rack of ribs. Portions were generous & affordable, the seasoning was addictive, & the sides were excellent - the carrots were tender without being mushy, & the mashed potatoes were deliciously rich. The meats were super tender & somehow tasted even better the next day when I reheated them.
