About

Okeya Kyujiro provides a theatrical omakase experience centered on precise culinary craftsmanship and traditional Japanese techniques. The menu showcases seasonal seafood flown in directly from Japan to ensure maximum freshness and authenticity for every course served. Diners observe the preparation of delicate nigiri and intricate sashimi platters within a minimalist, wood-focused setting designed to highlight the ingredients. Each sequential dish emphasizes the purity of flavor, focusing on balance between acidity, texture, and umami. The service follows a rhythmic flow, synchronizing the pace of the meal with the expert preparation occurring at the central counter. This commitment to ritualized preparation elevates standard sushi offerings into a choreographed performance of skill. The focus remains exclusively on the structural integrity of the fish and the seasoned vinegared rice that anchors the entire experience.

Top experience! You get to eat so many products from Japan in one place. Lots of fish & sushi. It's pricy like 500$ a person with taxes & tip but I think it's worth it. We had an amazing time.

Wonderful experience for my family. The staff is amazing & took time to explain each dish. We have been to Japan but did not know the origin of most of the items. They brought out a suitcase of gifts for my kids as an added bonus & the choices were too cute to choose. I highly recommend for a special evening.

I had the privilege of dining here earlier this month, & the food, sake, & service was fantastic. We were offered detailed information before each service about what we were about to enjoy, & enjoy it we did! Amazing ambiance for a special occasion.

Very good tasting menu & all the dishes were well executed right in front of you. The main point of improvement is on the drinks/ wine selection. There was only 3 white wine, no sparkling, no wine pairing option. The waitress were not very knowledgeable of the wines also. For a restaurant at this price point you expect this to be better.

My favourite dishes were the black cod, the yellowfin nigiri, the scallop & the wagyu.
