Ohayo Café apparaît comme une adresse japonaise charmante et lumineuse où l'ambiance calme et le cadre mignon accompagnent une carte mêlant cafés spécialisés et plats réconfortants, avec des boissons comme le latte au sesame noir, le matcha latte et le hojicha latte et des plats tels que tamago sando, dorayaki, karaage, ramen et ebi burger; les pâtisseries et les plats obtiennent des éloges pour leur qualité et leurs saveurs équilibrées, certains goûts audacieux n'etant pas pour tous mais valant le détour; le service est souvent chaleureux et efficace, mais des bémols concernent des informations d'horaires non mises à jour sur le site et des plats parfois juges gras ou chers, ainsi qu'une ambiance parfois un peu bruyante ou un espace petit, mais l'ensemble donne envie d'explorer davantage les mets et les boissons lors d'une prochaine visite.

staff is very kind & the food was delicious. i had the tomago sando & the chocolatine & both were wonderful. there was some very loud drilling & sparks coming from the back of the restaurant when we were dining in which was a bit loud & annoying.

Let's give a breakdown of each aspect of the coffee shop:
Food: From the Mazemen to their ramens, there is a little bit of everything! Their kitchen usually opens at 10:30 am EST. This does not mean that you shouldn't pass by!
In fact, the whole point of this review is to explain how good the coffee & the food are !
I am quite the cortado lover & it is incredible how they are able to take such care of each coffee. Their matcha is definitely worth it & I would invite everyone to give this a go! One of my favorite coffee shops in Montreal is September café because of their consistency & each barista being skilled with making precisely every kind of coffee. This is a coffee shop that is quite close in terms quality of coffee that September café makes.
Which brings me to the food! This is such a delight & it feels like I've gone back to Japan all over again! Rich, comforting! Their dishes are something that I can continue eating all day long especially the mazemen. I strongly recommend trying each of their dish!
Atmosphere: calm, welcoming, peaceful & beautiful! This is the kind of coffee shop that makes you want to stay long hours & enjoy the vibrant & serene place! This is feels like a coffee shop in Copenhagen.
Service: this is where they stand out from most! Incredibly kind, caring & focus, each coffee & meal is being cared for. The owner is incredibly kind & knowledgeable when it comes to coffee (grains, technique & other topics). This is the kind of coffee shop where I would love a James Hoffman to pass by & drink their coffee.
I strongly recommend this Japanese coffee shop!

The place is cute & lively. Delicious food (got the chicken burger; the chicken is super moist!). However it's definitely on the pricier side, I was disappointed that the side salad was only lettuce for an extra 3.50. Busy around lunch time we were lucky to grab a seat.
