Mardin Palace - Laval
Authentic Turkish experience! The food was delicious & traditional, full of flavor & perfectly cooked. The evening show was a real surprise - a beautiful dancer, a great singer, & lively Arabic music that got everyone up & dancing. What amazed me most: not a single drop of alcohol, yet people were genuinely having fun, laughing, celebrating naturally. A joyful, family-friendly atmosphere & a true taste of Turkish culture. I'll definitely come back!
Disappointed..went for a birthday celebration because of live music but they seated us a to side room that looked like a fast food restaurant because we didn't get the overpriced fixed menu to see the live music in the main room. Bad service..constantly have to tell the waiter what to do. Food just average & very expensive. Not too many Turkish food choices. It is more like arabic or labenese. Don't waster your money here .
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time, & it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm & welcoming atmosphere. The service was incredibly fast (for 10 people), & the staff were highly professional & attentive.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional Turkish dining experience. I will definitely be coming back!
I recently visited Mardin Palace Restaurant, & unfortunately, my overall experience was not great.
Pros:
✅ The restaurant has good parking availability.
✅ The decor is beautiful, creating a nice ambiance.
Cons:
❌ The kitchen staff's noise was extremely loud & easily heard in the dining area, which made the atmosphere less enjoyable.
❌ I ordered the lentil soup as a starter, which was delicious. However, the main dish we ordered was the three-person platter, & it was very small for its price. The portion of rice, in particular, was not enough for three people. Compared to other Turkish restaurants, the portion sizes do not match the price, making it poor value for money.
❌ One of my friends visiting from Toronto does not speak French, but the waiters only spoke French, making communication difficult.
Overall, I would rate the restaurant three stars, but in terms of value for money & portion size, only two stars.
Slow service, bland & lukewarm food. Bread was not made fresh, hummus tastes like the store bought stuff. It's more Turkish inspired than actual Turkish food. Otherwise the establishment is very clean & the owner seems nice. Maybe it was an off day?

This restaurant is one of the best experience of my life. The food is authentic Turkish with a lot flavor. The service is excellent thanks to Raffi, he cares for his clients & very accommodating. It is our discovery of the year 2021!
Delicious Turkish feast in Laval! Meat just melts in your mouth. Very professional service. Great vibe all together. Will recommend & visit again when in town!!!
If we could describe this place in 1 word it would be Phenomenal. It was our producer's birthday, so we brought him out for lunch. The restaurant actually looks like a palace. The decor is stunning. We get greeted & served by men in suits, talk about a fancy outing. The menu has an extensive list of grill & seafood dishes. The food was served in an appetizing display. Very generous with the amount of food, most of us could not finish the food. We were then served Turkish tea & given wet naps to clean our hands. The waiter will pass with a small broom to pick up the crumbs, something which caught us by surprise & Totally added to the experience of elegance. Wow!!! Can't say enough great things about the food! EVERYTHING was delicious!!! Definitely try the fried cheese rolls & get some appetizers, they also serve incredible Turkish bread. Have been several times now & food is consistently delicious! You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful restaurant, great service, very friendly & the Turkish food is amazing. The presentation is even better. My first time there but will definitely not be my last. Highly recommended.
