Already the rage in Europe, Australia, L.A. and New York, O.NOIR is Canada’s first-ever restaurant that invites you to experience food, drink and conversation like never before IN THE DARK! It’s a sensual dining experience like no other. When you eat without your sight, your remaining senses are heightened to savour the smell and taste of food. O.NOIR does more than just fire the imagination and stimulate the senses. After a few hours in complete darkness (that’s right, no flashlights, matches, cell phones, cigarette lighters or luminous watches), customers gain a better understanding of what it’s like to be blind just like the restaurants’ entire wait staff. I had a blast experiencing the darkness in such an awesome way. The food was fantastic, & the service was top-notch. it got way too noisy once the room filled up, & we couldn't even hear each other at our table. Overall great experience & would do it again.

Nous n'avons pas VU le temps passer !!! Nourtiture excellente service hors pair prix raisonnables c'était ma 3e fois & chaque fois je fais découvrir à quelqu'un & c'est toujours les mêmes commentaires positifs ! À vivre absolument

What an amazing experience! If you haven't been, it is a must! The food was dynamite, surprise cocktail was bomb. My 12 year old son enjoyed it too. Server was so polite & personable. Thanks Faye for the awesome experience! Will return again next time I am in Montreal!

Sophia was amaaazing! 10/10 would recommend this experience to everyone, at least once in their lifetime. Food was great, we had the surprise 3 course meal. The only thing we would recommend is having someone explain in detail what we ate after the experience since the whole time we were trying to guess (which was really cool- we were pretty spot on). The portions were really big & very filling. My boyfriend has multiple allergies & they accommodated him perfectly even within the experience!

The concept was fun & i'm happy that i tried it. We also had super good service from the server Fé who guided us well through this experience. However, we didn't really like the food, either it was too salty (surprise salmon starter), too spicy (the salad under the tuna tataki as a starter) or too fatty (surprise earthy dinner at dinner & the beef with potatoes) :(

La nourriture & particulièrement les pétoncles étaient extraordinaires! Le service de Sammy & Sophia était impeccable! Le sens de l'humour de Sammy nous a bien fait rire & a contribué à faire de cette expérience un moment inoubliable. Nous y retournerons assurément!

Wow ! Des employés avec un bon sens de l'humour & très à l'écoute des clients. La nourriture est excellente ! L'expérience est éducative & agréable Seul bémol c'est un peu bruyant j'imagine vu que les gens voient pas ils montent le son haha mais autrement j'ai adoré & je vais y retourner !

Ce soir étais ma troisième fois à ce resto après plusieurs années & l'expérience demeure toujours autant agréable. On ne s'y habitue pas je dirais & à chaque fois c'est un état d'émotions intense que l'on ressent durant surtout les premières minutes mais même durant tout le repas. J'ai pris le 3 service , avec le repas principal surprise & cetais succulent. Clairement que j'y retournerai sans aucun doute dans un futur rapprocher.

The reason I put 3 stars for the atmosphere is because the room was TOO COLD. Other than that, Fe was super professional. I had the surprise starter; it was a mix of warm pie with bloc of cold ham & a balsamic salad. it was too salty on my end.. for the main dish, i ordered the slow cooked roast beef. the beef was perfect, a mix of tender & crispy edge. potato & mushrooms were juicy & flavourful. the vegetables were too soft. The mocktail punch the bunch was bland. It was a cool experience but i wouldn't go back.

Super expérience! C'est vrai ce qu'on dit, on ne voit absolument rien! Mais on prend nos repères assez vite :) La nourriture était bonne & au menu, il y a des assiettes surprises qui poussent l'expérience gultative à un autre niveau.
